Kylie Jenner's cameo in Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's 'WAP' video irks fans: 'Should've edited that out'

Poking fun at Kylie's appearance in the video, a fan wrote, 'Idk what Kylie Jenner was doing in the video. She must’ve had to use the bathroom and couldn’t find it and they just kept that part'

The Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's dream collaboration we have all patiently waited for is finally here with an awesome addition: Kylie Jenner. The superstar rappers dropped their song 'WAP' late Thursday, August 6. Kylie was not the only celebrity who makes a surprise appearance in the video, as Rosalia and Normani also have short cameos.

Cardi B took to social media and teased her fans about the upcoming song, saying, "I just want to let y'all know, I wanna give you a heads up with the music video. It's going to be the censored version of the song, because the song is so nasty that YouTube was like, 'Hold on, wait a minute, the song might be too goddamn nasty'." She added, "So make sure you get the real s**t on all streaming platforms."

Later, fans couldn't get enough when the video for the song, sampling DJ Frank Ski's 1993 record, 'Wh*res In this House', finally dropped. Megan and Cardi travel through several colorful scenes inside a mansion, where, of course, there is plenty of twerking and the hotness quotient increases when Kylie enters wearing a leopard print dress. However, it seems that some fans were not happy to see Kylie in the video. One user called Kylie's appearance 'unnecessary', saying, "Kylie Jenner was just unnecessary on the Cardi B/ Megan Thee Stallion music video and that’s the nicest way I can put it." One Cardi B's fan commented, "The way I know all of our faces collectively dropped when Kylie walked her literal appropriated a** in this WAP video" and "My love for Meg and Cardi outweighs my annoyance with Kylie so I’m just gonna chalk it to the game cause the video and song are wonderful," she added.

Some even wanted her to be edited off the video, as one user said, "I think they thought we was going to go up for the Kylie moment but absolutely not. Should’ve edited that out. Read the room other than that, it was amazing. #wap." Another user sid, that she could have been easily been cut out from the video, saying, "I’m not on anyone’s side here but I’m pretty sure if they didn’t want Kylie in there she would have been easily edited out. Like. Easily. It’s a couple of button presses."

While some complained out loud, saying, "Me calling the #WAP video FLAWLESS while also complaining about Kylie’s cameo," and some made fun of her by saying, "Idk what Kylie Jenner was doing in the video. She must’ve had to use the bathroom and couldn’t find it and they just kept that part."
