When is EXO's Baekhyun coming back? SM Entertainment confirms return, fans think it will be IU vs Baekhyun again
SM Entertainment has reportedly confirmed that EXO Baekhyun is coming back with his solo project in March and EXO fans have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, the comeback of the million seller ‘genius idol’ who made a new record for solo artists in South Korea in 2020 is the biggest news of excitement. However, EXO-Ls also fear that this can be Baekhyun’s last project before enlisting.
The news of Baekyun’s comeback in March also establishes the ritual of another IU vs Baekhyun. K-pop fans took it to Twitter to share that this will be the third time popular K-pop soloist IU will be having a comeback at the same time as Baekhyun. It started with IU’s ‘Blueming’ vs EXO’s ‘Obsession', BOL4’s ‘Leo’ featuring Baekhyun vs IU’s ‘Eight’ featuring BTS’ Suga, and the third time which will be this March-end.

When is EXO Baekhyun making a comeback?
According to reports, Baekhyun will release his solo project on March 30 but the name of the EP hasn’t been released yet. Baekhyun released his last Korean single on December 21. ‘Amusement Park’ was a tribute to EXO memories. Along with that, Baekhyun also held a solo 'Beyond Live — Baekhyun: Light' stage on January 3 where the singer performed some of his most iconic tracks.

With another comeback on the horizon, EXO fans have taken to Twitter to share their excitement about the project. A fan said, “If IUcomeback, Baekhyun will definitely comback too, this is their habit of war on the music charts. Lol.” Another brought back the infamous ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ drama where IU and Baekhyun are seen fighting with each other with the caption, “IU and Baekhyun in late March.” A fan shared, “This is making me nervous. There’s a possibility that BAEKHYUN and CHANYEOL will e-word at the same time!” referring to enlistment rumors. Another commented, “It's ok tho. we expect him to go this year. I think it's better to go now with all the covid restrictions there's not much idols can do anyway. and when he return hopefully things will be much better!”
