K-pop idol Brooklyn is bringing his stunning vocals to a live audience via his upcoming free virtual mini-concert on Saturday, July 11. Brooklyn, who made his debut last year with the track 'Young Love', has been making waves across the K-pop community. The artiste wrote 'Young Love' entirely in English, marking the first-ever K-pop debut with an all-English song. The vibrant song was accompanied by an equally colorful music video, reflecting the song's themes of youth and a summer romance. Prior to his official debut, however, Brooklyn was already known to many owing to his 2017 collaboration with longtime friend and Korean hip-hop artist, Ki Hyun Lee on the track 'Nothing I Won't Do'. Following the release of this track, Brooklyn embarked on tours worldwide, performing in the US, Canada, South Korea, France, and beyond. In addition to two sold-out concerts in Vancouver, he was also a headliner at the Vancouver K-Pop Con in 2018, the same year he gained a new wave of followers owing to his acoustic cover of BTS' 'DNA'. He followed up his successful 2018 run with a live show and fan signing event in France in 2019, eventually debuting with his first official single.

And it appears the idol has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. While his highly-active touring schedule may have been hampered by the coronavirus pandemic, he's not letting the lockdown stop him from performing as he plans to take his concerts online. But in addition to getting to see Brooklyn live, fans can also rejoice because the mini-concert is free and will be held via live stream on the idol's YouTube channel. Check out the teaser below.

The teaser, which features a gorgeous piano version of 'Young Love', has fans excited. One fan commented, "Love the piano version of young love it sounds amazing / You look very handsome as well!!! Can’t wait for this I’m so excited!" while another said, "Such boyfriend material anyway IM EXITED." One fan had more than one reason to celebrate, sharing, "Oh my god oh my god oh my god ITS ON MY BIRTHDAY THIS IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!" Some dejected fans shared they would be unable to watch the show live, but Brooklyn assured them that it would be posted on the channel at a later date, so fans can relive the experience later on as well.

The mini-concert takes place on June 11 at 6 pm KST via Brooklyn's YouTube channel. Follow Brooklyn on Instagram, Twitter, or via BrooklynOfficial.com for more.
