It's another big day for hip-hop releases as both YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Kodak Black are dropping new projects tonight. While Kodak teased the release of his forthcoming album 'Bill Israel', his first major release since 2018's 'Dying To Live', a while ago, YoungBoy posted a short clip on social media holding a fat stack of cash announcing his new mixtape 'Until I Arrive' at midnight.

Kodak, who is still incarcerated at this time, has guest features from Jackboy, Tory Lanez, CBE, Gucci Mane, and Lil Yachty as this tweet pointed out, "Kodak Black's new album 'Bill Israel' will feature Gucci Mane, Lil Yachty, Tory Lanez, Jackboy, and CBE." The album is titled after Kodak’s Black real name, Bill K. Kapri, and after the country of Israel. This source of inspiration is that Kodak has identified with Judaism since 2017 and has claimed his belonging to the Israelite movement.

Reactions

Fans of the two rappers have been pitting them against each other ever since it was revealed that the records will be dropping on the same day. A Twitter page @MusixPromotions asked, "Kodak Black & NBA Youngboy are both looking to release albums at midnight. Who are you listening to first?" to which a fan replied, "Kodak been said he was gonna drop on 11/11 but YoungBoy tryna be slick and drop the same day. Jit better stop playing with fire. Surrounding himself with ops. Sniper and otf ain't Fredo and his gang."

Another fan, rooting for Kodak, tweeted, "Youngboy literally just dropped an album keep it. Give me that Kodak I've been waiting years for," while another wrote, "YoungBoy gonna outsell Kodak by over 50,000." A fan of both rappers said, "Y’all sleep b***h Kodak better than YoungBoy I listen to both but I’m riding with Yak at the moment," while another wrote, "Ten mins away from the new Kodak album. I literally feel like a kid on Christmas Eve right now."

Another expressed, "first he dropped the same day as Jackboy now he tryna drop the same day as Kodak, YoungBoy really act like a fan" while a Kodak fan tweeted, "YB wanna drop the same night as Kodak bruh go protect Quando, my boy." A user, siding with Kodak, said, "I remember all y’all that said YoungBoy was better than Kodak never forget."
