'Kingdom: Re-born' Episode 4 Winner: Who will win Round 2? iKon's 'Inception' and BTOB's 'Back Door' among top choices

Mnet's 'Kingdom: Legendary War' caused a major stir with spellbinding performances on the fourth episode. If Stray Kids set the stage on fire with its 'MIROH' performance, ATEEZ made fans go bonkers with 'From the Wonderland' in the first round. As an added bonus, various Korean supergroups gave their own twists to K-pop acts with a nostalgic treat for fans. 

Titled 'Re-born', the second round had a spectacular K-pop line-up featuring ATEEZ, Stray Kids, The Boyz, iKon, SF9, and BTOB that covered each other's legendary tracks. Dubbed the number one ranked group, ATEEZ went ahead and chose to cover iKon as the 'sunbaenim' (senior) group. ATEEZ performed iKon's 'Rhythm Ta' and iKon picked ATEEZ's record-breaking song 'Inception'.

Who will win Round 2?

After snagging a clear first position in round 1, ATEEZ is eyeing the first position after the second round 'Re-born' and 'Rhythm Ta' performance. However, it is iKon who is winning hearts as fans can't get enough of their rendition of ATEEZ's 'Inception.' What's more, fans believe that iKon transformed the track into one of their "own".

In fact, the YG Entertainment group — known for their cinematic touch — have also added the 'inception' effect (which also happens to be their favorite movie according to fans!) An iKonic — aka iKon fan — wrote, "Inception (the movie) is also jinhwan's and yunhyeong's favorite movies. now it looks like they're performing ateez' song: inception with a stage concept like this movie yep yep from avengers to la la land and vincenzo then now inception!"

One fan gushed, "Wow!!! IKON is so cool when performing the song Inception by Ateez. I cant wait to see their performance!!! iKON BORN THE STAGE!" Another ATEEZ fan shared, "atz might not be performing today but i’m so excited to see ikon’s stage today!!! this version sounds so much like ikon aaaaa queen inception youre in good hands!"

BTOB's 'Back Door'

If Ikon's 'Inception' is the first contender, BTOB's 'Back Door' rendition remains a close second as fans loved how Stray Kids' Felix jammed with BTOB's cover. Moreover, Minhyuk ripping his shirt on stage will be truly legendary in Kingdom's history.

A fan shared, "hold on since btob is doing backdoor, minhyuk ripped his shirt...what is gonna happen!" Another user quipped, "no cause im not ready for minhyuk to rip off his shirt goodbye!" Another fan said, "back door is literally my favorite skz song and you're telling me minhyuk is performing shirtless?????" and added, "minhyuk is gonna rip that shirt off and my clothes are most likely gonna self combust!"
