Who is Lul Tim? King Von’s alleged killer is being released over $100K bond: ‘They let cops walk all the time’
Rapper King Von, whose real name is Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was shot and killed after a violent confrontation outside an Atlanta nightclub on November 6, 2020. A man identified as Timothy "Lul Tim" Leeks was arrested the very next day after being charged with the murder of the Chicago rapper. The violent incident that broke between two groups left six people injured and three people dead.
Now, in the latest piece of news, the alleged killer has been reportedly granted a bond and he will soon be a free man. According to XXL magazine, Leeks has been granted a $100,000 bond, as revealed by Fulton County Court records. Senior Public Information Officer Tracy Flanagan spilled the beans to XXL saying, “He’s still in jail. He does have a $100K bond and must be fitted with an ankle monitor.”

How did King Von die?
The ‘Down Me’ hitmaker got involved in a brawl outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge in downtown Atlanta on November 6, 2020. According to authorities, a fight broke out between Von and his group with another group in the parking lot at 3 am, reports XXL magazine. Surveillance footage of the incident revealed that several shots were fired and Von was then spotted lying on the ground.
The Atlanta Police Department had released an official statement on the shooting. "It is our understanding Dayvon Bennett, aka King Von was shot and killed during this morning’s shooting and we are seeing rumors being spread indicating he was shot and killed by APD officers.” It further read, “At this time, our investigators believe Mr. Bennett was shot during the initial shootout between the two groups of males, prior to police responding and attempting to stop the shooting. Additionally, Mr. Bennett was not located at the scene, but arrived at a hospital shortly after the shooting, via private vehicle. The investigation into this incident remains open and very active."
Who is the accused killer?
The alleged killer is being identified as the affiliate of rapper Quando Rondo. 22-year-old Timothy Leeks hails from Savannah, Georgia. After the shooting incident, Atlanta police spokeswoman Marla Jean Rooker had earlier told XXL, “Mr.Leeks is in police custody at Grady Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound. The homicide of [King Von] Bennett is closed with this arrest.” Leeks had spent two weeks in the hospital before getting booked into the Fulton County Jail on November 19. He was charged with one count of murder. Before being granted the $100K bond, Leeks was denied bond twice, previously.
