‘Kim’s all about optics’: Kim Kardashian slammed for cropping out Jennifer Lopez from pic with Oprah
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez may be one of the biggest stars on the planet, but it did not stop Kim Kardashian from cropping her out of a photo! The beauty mogul had posted a photo to celebrate TV legend Oprah Winfrey’s birthday and had cropped out Lopez from the birthday tribute, and it did not take long for web sleuths to put two and two together. In the photo, Kardashian is all smiles as she rocked a cross necklace and Winfrey is shining in a sparkly brown suit.
"Happy birthday! Toasting to you meant the world," Kim had captioned the photo. She later posted another story of the TV talk show host with her birthday cake as well. However, fans on the internet quickly deduced that JLo had been cropped out of the photo when the ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ singer posted the actual snap later that night. They had also figured out that the party was not even hosted by Winfrey, but was a party to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Anastasia Beverly Hills, the iconic makeup brand.

'She had us all fooled'
“Im cryin cause why couldn’t Kim post the full pic of her, Oprah, and Jlo?” one user had asked, which sparked the whole conversation about the pair’s dynamics and how Kardashian 'is all about the optics'. Another user said, “Did she crop out JLO make it look like her and Oprah are besties?” There was another user who wrote, “Nah bc I was like dang Oprah invited KIM to her birthday?? She had us all fooled lmao.”
One user had to explain whose party it was and the possible reasoning behind Kardashian’s cropping out of Lopez. “Anastasia of Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup. There’s some controversy around her being pro-Russia. Maybe that’s why Kim didn’t mention her in the post? Not sure if that accounts for cutting jlo out though lol.” Another user had their own reason and it was simple, “Jlo is supposedly a huge beeeotch.... so maybe it's shade......”
One other user had said that Kardashian wanted to make it look as if she and Winfrey were friends only so that she may be invited to do a sitdown interview with the host sometime. “She’s securing that sitdown interview,” they said.
