Kim Kardashian and Kanye West name their 4th child Psalm West
The day that most Kimye fans have been waiting for is finally here – we now have a name for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s fourth child – Psalm. The baby boy, who was born last Thursday at 6 lb and 9 oz, was welcomed to the world with ecstatic tweets by both parents. Kim announced Psalm’s arrival with a simple, “He’s here and he’s perfect!”
In true Kim fashion, her fourth child’s name was revealed to the world on Twitter, along with a photo of the infant and a text conversation with her husband Kanye, in which she says, “Beautiful Mother's Day. With the arrival of our fourth child. We are blessed beyond measure.”
Kimye is notorious for giving their children the most outlandish names, with their daughter being named North West, second child - a son - being called Saint West, and the third, a baby girl, being named Chicago West. And now, their youngest sibling has been named Psalm West.
Kim has claimed that Psalm looks like Chicago’s twin brother, and like his sister, is born out of surrogacy. Although she was happy with the first surrogate, due to her own pregnancy, Kim had to look for a new surrogate for Psalm. The reality star has been extremely careful about hiding the identity of her surrogates in both pregnancies, and both of who remain a mystery to most of her fans.
Psalm’s surrogate mother went into labor while his auntie Kourtney Kardashian and grandma Kris Jenner were on 'Ellen.' In fact, it was Kourtney – who appeared on the show with most of her grandchildren from Mason Dash Disick to Chicago West - that alerted the matriarch about the pregnancy.
Kim and Kanye used an embryo they had created together to birth Psalm, and although Kim was tight-lipped about the whole thing for a long time, she revealed she is expanding her family to talk show host Andy Cohen, after which she also claimed that she got drunk and revealed this information to multiple people.
Regardless, we are all happy to have you in this world, Psalm West.
