Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcome fourth child, a baby boy, via surrogate
Congratulations are in order for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as they welcome their fourth child together.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star took to Twitter and announced that a baby boy was born via surrogate. “He’s here and he’s perfect!” she wrote.
Minutes later she shared a second post that read, “He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her.”
Earlier in the day, Kourtney Kardashian appeared on 'The Ellen Show' and with her children, Mason, Reign and Penelope, along with Kim's children, North, Saint, and Chicago. Kourtney revealed that Kim was also meant to be on the show but she couldn't make it as her surrogate had gone into labor.
The rumors about Kim and Kanye having another baby started in January this year. The make-up mogul did not confirm the news until the middle of the month when she appeared on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen'.
“Are you working on another child?” Cohen asked. “We are,” she replied. “It’s a boy, I think it’s been out there,” she added. “I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party and told some people. I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk.”
A woman named La’Reina Haynes carried Chicago for Kim and Kanye. However, this time, the couple used a different surrogate because Haynes was pregnant with a child of her own.
The reality TV star revealed that North and Saint were excited when they heard that they were going to have a sister.
“They are excited,” Kim had said. “I mean, I don’t know if they don’t feel it as much because they don’t see my big belly and probably hear me complaining every two seconds. But, we do talk about it a lot, so I think they are really excited. I think my son, I don’t know how he is going to react because he doesn’t get it yet, but my daughter is really excited.”
