LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Saturday Night Live' star Kenan Thompson teased fans about former colleague Pete Davidson's return to the show. During the premiere of Davidson's semi-autobiographical Peacock series 'Bupkis' on Thursday, April 27, Thompson, one of the few old cast members still part of the show, said, "It's like a week off for us because they know how to do the show."

“We don't have to hand-walk them through every single part of it. Usually, they come up with ideas too, so a quarter of the show is almost already done. It's just a fun, easy week for us," he continued. He will step back to Rockefeller Center's iconic Studio 8H to host the May 6 episode with Lil Uzi Vert as the musical guest. He shared with Entertainment Tonight, the episode will "try to balance" the characters Davidson portrayed on the show before including sketches of Chad but with a fresh idea. "I'm a classics fan. I'd fill the show up with all of his old characters or whatever, but it's also fun to explore the new," said the 44-year-old comedian, as per People.
