LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: More than seven weeks after crashing his car into a Beverly Hills home, the ‘Bupkis’ star Pete Davidson, 29, may soon find out if he faces criminal charges.
According to law enforcement sources, the investigation into Davidson's late-night March 4 crash with actress girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders riding alongside had only recently been completed. The 29-year-old ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’ star was "driving at a high rate of speed" when he jumped a curb and smashed into the corner of a house, reported TMZ.

The matter is currently being evaluated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for possible criminal charges, TMZ reports. While the office generally only handles felony cases, it can also handle misdemeanor offenses in Beverly Hills.
No one was hurt in the accident that happened on Saturday, April 4. However, a 16-year-old girl who was alone at home when the comedian smashed into the corner of her living room, was “a bit” traumatized.
What happened in the accident?
Police confirmed that comedian Pete Davidson was engaged in an automobile accident on Saturday, April 4, in Beverly Hills, California, in which his car collided with a fire hydrant, People reports.
Davidson, 29, was driving and was joined by his girlfriend, actress Chase Sui Wonders, 26, reports TMZ. The actor was traveling at a fast speed when he lost control of his car, causing it to go over the curb, hit a fire hydrant, and eventually crash into the side of a house. However, no one was hurt in the incident.
Lt Christopher Coulter of the Beverly Hills Police Department verified that officers reacted to an accident report of a car colliding with a fire hydrant at about 11 pm. Coulter verified that the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star was in the car, but did not specify at that time whether he was driving or a passenger. According to Coulter, an accident report was taken for city property damage.
The crash happened just a few hours after Davidson presented at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Before that he returned from Hawaii to Los Angeles on a five-hour flight, reports Daily Mail.
