It is donning on Kellyanne Conway, the former counselor to President Donald Trump, that her ex-boss might not have won a second term at the Oval Office after all. Even as the POTUS refuses to concede the presidential loss, Kellyanne has accepted the fact that Trump has lost and expressed the wish to work for his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, if the president-elect presents her with the opportunity after getting inaugurated.

Kellyanne made her sentiments about the future clear in an interview with The 19th that aired on Friday, December 4. Kellyanne, who has often gone above and beyond her way to defend Trump in the past, ultimately resigning from her official post in August, accepted that despite Trump's efforts to fight the results there was little doubt that he lost the election.

“If you look at the vote totals in the Electoral College tally, it looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail," Conway told The 19th. "I assume the electors will certify that and it will be official. We, as a nation, will move forward, because we always do."

Despite the swing states which earlier projected Biden as the winner all certifying the election results, the POTUS "wants to exhaust all of his legal avenues" and he has a "right" to do so, said the former Trump adviser. She also added she was willing to work with "future administrations" including Biden's.

“If there’s anything I can ever do to help … they can count on me," Kellyanne told The 19th. Then she seemed to indirectly condemn the actions of the Trump administration which had been doing everything its power to deny Biden a smooth transition of power. Kellyanne spoke about the need for a "peaceful transfer of democracy," regardless of "whose administration goes into whose administration."

A number of people reacted to her interview. "Kellyanne Conway is irrelevant. Who cares what she has to say?" one of them said while another wrote, "Gosh, that was mighty big of her." A user quipped, "There's nothing apparent.....he IS the winner." One user tweeted, "Kellyanne who ?" Another remarked, "Thank you @claudiamconwayy" A user commented, "It’s hard to leave the limelight," while another said, "Hopefully George doesn’t need to sleep on the sofa any longer."

Kellyanne shared a complex relationship with the rest of her family as her husband, George Conway, and her daughter, Claudia Conway, have always been outspoken against Trump and pushed for Biden to be elected president.

Only last month George slammed Trump as the president and his supporters continued to claim voter fraud. Taking to Twitter on November 11, the constitutional lawyer said, “The way I look at Trump and his minions' nonsense is that they're like a bunch of drunks trying to take down a skyscraper with a blowtorch. I don't think they have the remotest chance of succeeding, but I also don't think we should allow them to start a fire while they try.”

In another tweet posted on November 12, George wrote: “If @realDonaldTrump were to gracefully concede the election and pledge and give his cooperation to his successor and otherwise act in the best interests of the country, it would truly be the day he became president.”

According to a CNN report, Kellyanne announced on August 23 evening that she will leave her post at the end of the month and even George tweeted that he was stepping down from The Lincoln Project. Both stated the need to focus on family as a reason. Their announcement came after their daughter Claudia took to social media and announced that she will be pushing for emancipation soon if the political differences in her family continue.
