Steven Seagal's ex Kelly LeBrock calls him 'tragedy of Hollywood' years after ugly divorce
In 1996, Kelly LeBrock and Steven Seagal had a bitter divorce after being married for nearly 10 years and having three children together. However, Kelly did not hesitate to speak about her ex-husband recently in an interview with Page Six. And it seems she did not speak well of him.
Steven has recently been a controversial figure after President Vladimir Putin supported him vocally after allegations of sexual misconduct against him. The 61-year-old actress said that she feels sorry for the 68-year-old action star. She added, "I feel sorry for the man. I think that he is just a very sad person and he is what I would call a tragedy of Hollywood." She believes that since Steven suffered mistreatment from others in his childhood, it influences his behavior and actions as a grown-up now.

She said, "I believe he was very bullied as a child, very sickly, very weak and I guess people who are treated that way as children end up becoming lost as they age. I wish him all the best."
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail in 2013, Kelly spoke about her ugly split from Steven. The two got married in 1987 and share daughters Annaliza, 34, Arissa, 28 and a son Dominic, 31. The two met each other on a trip to Japan in 1987, where Kelly's publicist Dick Gutman introduced her to Steven.
While Kelly was shooting for American Vogue, Seagal was there to meet his ex-wife and children. Kelly said, "I had spoken to Steven a number of times on the phone but I was going to blow him off. I finally said I would have a drink with him and when he came to my room I opened the door he was just standing there, six feet four inches tall, nice looking, slim, he spoke fluent Japanese and he could do acupuncture, chiropractic, sang, played guitar and could draw.
She further added, "There seemed to be nothing he could not do. He was an all-around Renaissance man and I was instantly attracted to him." Despite the happy marriage, the relationship took a dark turn and the two ended up in an ugly divorce.
Kelly said that she suffered a relationship-altering incident at the hands of Steven in 1988. In 1996, Kelly and Steven divorced; later Kelly said the highly publicized and bitter nature of her divorce made her want to hide from the world.
