Keith Urban ‘The Speed of Now Part 1’: Release date, concept, tracklist and all you need to know about singer’s new album
The country music legend Keith Urban is all set to release his 11th studio album titled ‘The Speed of Now Part 1.’ The Australian singer-songwriter had first announced his new album on May 8, 2020, amid the global pandemic via a special clip on his official YouTube channel in collaboration with the Billboard. The 2minutes 45seconds video opens with Keith telling his fans what he has been up to, saying, “A bit of recording and a whole lot of making coffee.” He can be seen doing random stuff but he also talks about his new album revealing that he had first thought of the album title last October when the world was very different from today.
"In October 2019, this album title came to me. I liked it because I felt like life was flying by so fast. But music, for me, has always been the place where it slows down and doesn't even exist. I would never have imagined that, in 2020, this album title would take on a whole new meaning and yet somehow still feel incredibly relevant."

The 52-year-old crooner had shared the album cover art on his official Instagram account along with the full tracklist of the album. The record cover is a bright blur of yellow, purple, red and orange. The country superstar appears underneath his name and the album's title, written in block letters.
Release Date
Keith Urban’s latest ‘The Speed of Now Part 1’ will hit the Internet on September 18 via Capitol Records Nashville which is a branch of Universal Music Group. The new album is a follow-up to his 2018 hit record ‘Graffiti U.’
Concept
Talking about his new record, Keith recently said in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, “70% of the album was ready before we witnessed the pandemic. And, then some of the songs in the album are only because of the times we are currently in.”
If we talk about his song ‘Polaroid’ which was released a few weeks ago, it is a nostalgic track where the country singer sheds light on the time when he and his band lived in a rundown, piece-of-crap house soon after he moved to Nashville.

It won’t be wrong to assume that his new record will be heavy on the emotional side and will also talk about various memories of his personal and professional life.
