‘Slightly mad, crazy and weird’: Keith Richards' granddaughter Ella claims rock star is a 'crossdresser'
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: 'Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards is one of the few rock and rollers who have pulled off the 'rough n romantic' look even as he aged. In the late seventies and early eighties, Richards was frequently in the news for his unique style, which was way ahead of its time.
In a recent interview, Richards' granddaughter, Ella, claimed that the rockstar was a cross-dresser. The model, 26, stated that the English musician and songwriter, who has previously acknowledged that half of his collection consists of women's clothing, used to parade around in his then-partner Anita Pallenberg's clothes. She also called her family a little "mad," "crazy," and "weird" before citing Richards' eccentric wardrobe choices as an example of "odd behavior." She told Tatler magazine, "Most of my family are slightly mad and crazy or weird. They borrow each other's clothes. My grandfather used to wear my grandmother's (Pallenberg's) clothes, and she used to wear his."

Richards and Pallenberg had a daughter named Dandelion Angela and a son named Marlon while they were together from 1967 to 1980, during the height of the Stones' fame. Ella is the daughter of Marlon and former model Lucie de la Falaise. In addition to Ella, Marlon has another daughter, Ida.
Ella added about her grandfather, saying, "(He) is very quiet and sweet and loving. He's a lot more shy than people think. My dad's more loud. You can definitely feel his presence in a room. He is highly intelligent. He knows everything about everything. He's read every single book ever. So you can't really beat him."
Richards previously acknowledged that he borrows the majority of his clothing from the women in his life, including his current wife, Patti Hansen. Richards married Hansen in 1983 after divorcing Pallenberg. They have two children together, Theodora Dupree, 37, and Alexandra Nicole, 36, as per AceShowBiz.
When discussing how his closet was searched for the Stones' 'Exhibitionism' display at the Saatchi Gallery in London, Richards said, "All I know is that I've been stripped of half my wardrobe. I still wear these damn things. They're not history to me - they're my clothes. I'll find some more. I'll tap up my old lady. That's where most of my clothes come from."
