LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Keanu Reeves has lived up to his reputation of being one of the most generous Hollywood stars by giving out personalized gifts to the stunt crew of his latest megahit, 'John Wick: Chapter 4'. As a thank-you gesture for their tireless efforts and commitment to the film, the actor gave his four-man stunt team something truly special.

'John Wick: Chapter 4' has been hailed as one of the best action films in recent memory. Keanu Reeves' eponymous hero remains the soul of the fourth installment of the franchise that began in 2014.

Reward for braving death

Keanu Reeves presented t-shirts to the stunt crew, with the number of deaths they faced in the film inscribed on them. For some of them, the number was above 20, The New York Times reported. The production house reused some of the stunt performers in multiple scenes, such as the staircase fight, which required 35 of them, some of whom "died" multiple times.

According to the New York Times, the staircase fight sequence was filmed over seven nights and each stuntman was probably killed four to five times. The actor apparently wanted to honor their hard work in a unique way but with a touch of humor.

Reeves' history of kind gestures

Known as one of the nicest in the business, Keanu Reeves often wins over his admirers with his kind gestures. His four-man stunt team for 'John Wick: Chapter 4' also received Rolex Submariner watches from the actor after the film wrapped. The watches cost nearly $10,000 and contained a personalized message for each. Bruce Concepcion, Jeremy Marinas, Dave Camarillo, and Li Qiang made up Reeves' stunt team for the film.

Before 'John Wick: Chapter 4', Keanu gave his 'The Matrix Resurrections' stunt team an all-expenses-paid trip to the film's premiere, including tickets, hotel rooms, and even private jets to fly them in. Years before that, he famously purchased Harley-Davidson motorbikes for the stunt team in ‘The Matrix Reloaded'. The actor is also known to give to charities, including cancer research and children’s hospitals.

'John Wick: Chapter 4' is now playing in theaters across the country.
