AUSTIN, TEXAS: The SXSW Film Festival premiere of 'John Wick: Chapter 4' was a thrilling success based on the loud applause that rocked the walls of the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas, on Monday, March 13— and that's before the movie even started. The 1,000+ audience burst into thunderous applause the moment Keanu Reeves took the stage at director Chad Stahelski's request.

Throughout the movie's lengthy two hours and 49 minutes, there were loud gasps and sounds of thunderous applause after each of the action-packed scenes in Berlin, Paris, and Osaka. Reeves and Stahelski were delightfully shell-shocked by the boisterous ovation as they entered the stage following the film. "You guys are amazing," Reeves exclaimed. He added "Thanks for that experience. You guys are f**king awesome," reports Variety.

'I'll marry you!'

Reporting on the remaining post-screening Q&A, however, is a little difficult because the conversation occasionally drifted into very serious spoiler territory. For example, Reeves' response to the question of what his favorite scene in the film brought on a chorus of "Awwwws" from the audience. However, Stahelski's answer was, at least, spoiler-free. He recalled, "It was the first day Keanu came on set. He had the suit back on and it was the first time we were back together in three years. So it was pretty special.”

During the majority of the Q&A, audience members paid lengthy tributes to the film's star. Reeves was asked if he is ever going to get older. Someone yelled, "I'll marry you!" as Reeves revealed that he had saved Wick's watch and wedding ring from the earlier films. "Yeah, be careful what you wish for," Reeves advised.

Who is Keanu Reeves dating?

Grant worked with Reeves, and the two had been friends for a long time before they publicly announced their relationship. Grant illustrated both his 2016 book 'Shadows' and his 2011 book 'Ode to Happiness'. They launched 'X Artists' Books together in 2017, and they share ownership of it. 'Ode to Happiness' served as a symbol of the already-close bond between Grant and Reeves.

'John Wick: Chapter 4' is set to hit the theatre on March 24, 2023.
