KCON: TACT 3 is bringing K-pop groups closer to fans through a virtual platform for a second year after it shifted to the online mode in 2020 due to the pandemic. This year, the first set of the star-studded lineup has made fans beyond excited which includes quite a few rising K-pop groups and soloists. By introducing a mock setup of actual stages representing different regions of the world, KCON TACT is hoping to close the gap between the fans and K-pop stars through technological wonders. From Itzy to Enhypen, here are the lineup.
KCON: TACT 3, deemed as the global convention of Korean pop culture which celebrates its expansion in countries like the US, Australia, Mexico, and Japan, and France. Apart from the K-pop groups, KCON: TACT 3 will also feature local influencers and fan meeting programs, customized content that is popular in the particular region, and more. KCON TACT has also promised that global fans can participate in the programs in real-time through various tasks.

Speaking of what is exclusive at KCON: TACT 3 this year, a representative from the South Korean entertainment and retail company CJ ENM producing the event stated, “A huge strength for KCON: TACT 3 is being able to meet various artists who represent the present and future of K-pop in one place. As it is currently difficult to meet with foreign fans in person, we have prepared diverse content in order to recreate the offline experience. We will continue to work for the spread of global K-pop that transverses time and space”, Soompi reported.
