KBS Song Festival 2020: Is Chaeyeon and Chaeryeoung's 'Rain On Me' better than Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande?
K-pop sensations Lee sisters IZ*ONE’s Chaeyeon and ITZY’s Chaeryeoung came for the ‘dancing queen crown’ with their KBS 'Gayo Daechukje Connect 2020' stage performance. The sibling duo performed a never-seen-before rendition of Taemin’s ‘Criminal’, Chung Ha’s ‘Roller Coaster’ and a dance cover of Lady Gaga x Ariana Grande’s ‘Rain on Me’.
Their special collaboration performance was one of the surprise stages of KBS Gayo 2020 which included some of the major surprise teams up that fans didn’t expect including P Nation’s Jessi and GOT7’s Jackson, fourth-generation superstars Astro’s Moonbin, Stray Kids' Hyunjin, The Boyz' Jooyeon, NCT's Shotaro, a surprise collab from the youngest members of four girl groups, Arin of Oh My Girl, Shuhua of (G)-Idle, Itzy’s Yuna, Izone’s Wonyoung, JY Park and Sunmi, Kim Yeonja and Seol Undo, a rap line collab of Bangchan, Chanbin, Taeyong, Mark, Joohoney and I.M, plus veteran singer Kim Yona teamed up in a special stage with Solar from Mamamoo. The Boyz jazzed up the stage with a special performance of ‘Twist of love’ with singer Sul Woon Do.

The real-life Lee sisters Chaeyeon and Chaeryeoung have an adorable bonding where the duo have been competing with each other since they appeared in 'K-Pop Star 3'. Chaeyeon and Chaeryeoung both participated in the reality show ’Sixteen’ but neither of them made it to the final lineup which became the famous girl group ‘Twice’. Later they debuted in two highly popular girl groups Iz*one and Itzy.
Fans have loved the duo’s take on ‘Rain on Me’ as they couldn’t stop talking about it. A fan posted, “Sisters CHAEYEON of IZ*ONE and CHAERYEONG of ITZY. IZ*ONE also performed “Fiesta + Panorama” for KBS Gayo 2020 as a group while the group’s youngest member Wonyoung took on a special stage consisting of three other youngest member of the girl groups, Yuna, Arin, and Shuhua and performed ‘I Don’t Know’. Group member Eunbi performed ‘Boss’ with Itzy’s Ryujin, Oh My Girl’s Yooa, and GFriend’s SinB.
