'So now it's more 'Wills and Kate' instead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge... 'Just call me Wills' type of thing,' an insider said.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge want to redefine the monarchy as more modern and approachable, moving away from "stuffy" royal traditions. Kate Middleton and Prince Charles aim to "tear up the rulebook" and forsake old-fashioned practices to show that they are royals who can change with the times.

They also want to get rid of their titles and use their first names as part of their royal revolution, according to the Sunday Mirror. "They want to try to avoid the bows and curtsies in public, be more approachable, less formal, less stuffy, and break away with a lot of the tradition and focus on a modern monarchy," an insider said. Following the criticism to their Caribbean tour in March, they are said to demand institutional reform and to conduct things "the Cambridge way."

"The general consensus was that the tour seemed out of date, out of touch, too formal and stuffy. So now it's more 'Wills and Kate' instead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge... 'Just call me Wills' type of thing," the insider stated. According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are "perceived as royal stars" who would "cement the monarchy's position globally and secure the Commonwealth."

"It was a shock to them all," the source continued regarding the tour. "A real eye-opener. This is what prompted institutional change within the monarchy." Prince William has already intended to have roughly 70 fewer assistants when he replaces Charles as Prince of Wales, demonstrating that he has his own standards. Instead, he plans to reduce the estimated 137 employees his father employs to establish a more cost-effective and informal team.

Wills and Kate will also hire a small team of five or six people to work on "comfortable and credible" good causes. Shorter, solo visits will also be available, such as Kate's recent journey to Copenhagen, Denmark, with her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

"William and Kate will modernise how they work. It's a breath of fresh air. They were bruised by attacks that their Caribbean trip harked back to the colonial age. In future they will rip up the rule-book and do things 'The Cambridge Way.' They're trying to work out what that will look like. It is not a criticism of how it was done in the past. But times are changing," a source told The Sun.

The first trip of the Platinum Jubilee was organised by Kensington Palace in collaboration with the governments of Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. However, due to social media backlash and anti-royal rallies, some engagements were cancelled.

Several Twitter users voiced their perspectives on the royal revolution, one individual wrote, "Harry and Meghan have already gone that route with their 'just Harry" and "call me Meghan" requests. More copycat behaviour by the Cambs to make themselves seem relatable." Another person contributed to it by writing, "Good, The more royalty is eroded away the less it will become, Why have a royal family if it's not diffrent or supposedly special, why bother have princes and princesses, kings and queens, if you want to start presenting yourself as normal? Eventually it will become pointless."

One person expressed their thoughts to implement change in other areas wrote, "The egghead has no leadership skills. If he really wants to be a modern royal,he should start by protecting & supporting M&H publicly & giving Lilibet & Archie back their birth titles. Removing a title will not change the fact that William & Kate are racists."
