Amid speculations and fear of a visible fallout between Prince William and Prince Harry, the brothers were spotted chatting with each other after the funeral of Prince Phillip. Much to the delight of fans worldwide, the feuding brothers were caught on camera walking out of the chapel together, with Kate Middleton accompanying them. Harry was seen talking to the Duchess of Cambridge, as she made way for him to have a word with Prince William. 

Many are speculating that Kate acted as a mediator between the two and initiated a face-to-face conversation perhaps for the first time since Harry arrived in the UK for Prince Philip's funeral. Princes William and Harry sat opposite one another inside St George’s Chapel and did not exchange a single word. In the absence of his wife Meghan, Harry sat alone while Prince William was joined in a bubble arrangement with his wife.

Prince Harry's relationship with the royal family and especially his brother has been strained since 'Megxit', when he and Meghan stepped down from their position as senior royals. The rift worsened further after Harry and Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, where Harry made remarks about the royal family that did not sit well with Prince William. 

While Meghan said that Kate made her cry at her wedding over an issue with flower girls, Harry commented that his brother and father were 'trapped' in the royal family. The couple also made shocking allegations of racism and mistreatment by the royals. 

According to US Weekly, the brothers reportedly had a conversation after the interview but it did not yield any fruitful results. "William feels that Harry has gotten too big for his boots since moving to California — that success and Hollywood have gone to his head. He’s already accused [Harry] of putting fame over family after the big interview," claimed an insider source. 

However, as the family bid adieu to the Duke of Edinburgh in an emotional ceremony, the brothers appeared to reunite briefly, thanks to the intervention of the Duchess of Cambridge. 

Though their conversation could not be heard, it was seen that Harry was chatting with Kate Middleton as William walked a few paces ahead. However, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped away and let the two reportedly feuding brothers exchange a few words. It appeared like she was mediating between them.

Royal family fans were overwhelmed with delight as they spotted the trio walking and talking, 'just like the old times'. Twitter users shared their heartfelt comments about the brief 'reunion'.
