'Karen' chases boy at park, hurls dog poo at his head after being called racist slur
Social media erupted after a video of a young boy being chased by a woman at a dog park and then trying to hurl a poo bag at his head seemed quite extreme. However, a section of people were convinced that there's more to the story than what appears in the video. The woman, a dog walker, later confiscated the boy's bike as well after he built jumps at the park. The video, taken at Padbury in Perth's northern suburbs showed the woman lunging at the boy with a poo bag in hand which she was trying to land on his head after he appeared to call her an offensive racist term. "I beg your pardon you little s*it," she was heard angrily saying in the TikTok video which has since gone viral on the platform.
We've covered many stories involving a 'Karen' in the recent past. For those who don't know what a Karen is, it's a term associated with a white woman who exhibits behaviors stemming from privilege. For example, Karen is someone who would "like to speak to your manager". Recently, TikTok user Monique Upchurch shared a minute-long video on Facebook which showed a grey and black car passing a house as an older Asian woman carrying a door became extremely angry. The woman was seen pointing at the driver and yelling "get this pimp" before keeping her door on the sidewalk and approaching the vehicle. Another Black TikTok user Shaniece Nicole shared a video of a white woman who was allegedly texting and driving and almost hit her car. Nicole blew her horn to get the woman's attention after which the latter called her a bitch for doing so.

The boy featured in the video took to TikTok and shared the video of the heated exchange between him and the woman at the park. He then posted a photograph of the woman who he dubbed as 'Karen' standing next to his bike. "Karen chased me and tried to put dog poo on my head for building jumps at a park - and then tried to take my bike," he wrote in the caption. Most of the people in the comment section had the boy's back and asked him to report the woman to authorities.
"I'm so sorry this happened. If I was there I would have helped you," one person wrote. "You need to show this to your parents and go to the police," another wrote in the comments, according to Daily Mail. However, there were others who felt there must have been more to the fight than what appears in the nine-second clip which might have triggered her to react the way she did. "How about you post the full video and show what happened prior to this so we get the full picture," a person wrote. "Why did she react this way? Still, no excuse but would like to know," another user commented. "What happened before this video? Still no excuse for her reaction but she's pissed at something," commented a third.
