'I tapped out at first sign': Kanye West’s ex Julia Fox REVEALS ‘red flags’ that led to her breakup with rapper
Julia Fox has revealed the red flags she encountered during her relationship with rapper Kanye West. After a brief two-month romance, Julia, 32, and West, 45, called it quits right before Valentine's Day in 2022.
In an interview with ES Magazine, the celebrity talked about their brief relationship and said that she was the one who started the breakup because of "red flags." The reason her relationship failed with Kanye was that a lot of devotion and dedication were required to continue their affair, which Julia was not inclined to pursue. “The unresolved issues that he was dealing with,” she said when asked what the red flags she saw were. “It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don't have time for it, or energy. I don't have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I'm proud of myself for that,” she said to the magazine. “Pre-Valentino Julia would have definitely stuck it out and been there for longer,” she pointed out. Julia is talking about her son Valentino with her ex-husband Peter Artemiev in the statement.

Julia provided more details about their connection and relationship and how the two got in touch by stating, “He got my number through a mutual friend, period.” The celebrity admitted that she simply wanted to see where it would lead when the mother of one remarked that they had "a good amount" of romantic sparks. Expressing the difference in lifestyle, location, and realism, Julia admitted she was quick to notice a red flag in her relationship with Kanye. “I was just going day by day and seeing where it went. It was just like, he still wants to hang out with me today, let's do it. And then real life set in and the lifestyle wasn't suitable. I couldn't fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag,” she told.
Before parting ways ahead of Valentine's Day, Julia and Kanye had met during New Year's in Miami. The pair were first spotted together over the New Year's holiday. Julia confessed in February that she was never “in love” with the rapper and that they had broken up, clearing the air on the status of their relationship. Instead of expressing her disappointment, Julia referred to herself as the "#1 hustler" and made a suggestion that she now intends to publish a tell-all book about the brief affair she had with Kanye.
On being asked if her relationship with Kanye was forged to attract publicity, Julia dismissed the question by slamming it as “total b******t.”
