THROUPLE TROUBLE: Woman reveals secrets of polyamorous relationship with husband and best friend
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: A woman, who claims to be in a polyamorous relationship, has revealed that she shares her husband with her best friend. Angel Bailey also reportedly claimed that she’s happy being in a throuple and does not want to change it. The 26-year-old has been married to Tyler Hayes since May 2022, and their other partner Sam Vicks served as the bridesmaid at their wedding.
As per reports, Angel and Tyler had been dating each other since 2018, and a year before their marriage, the 29-year-old man proposed to Sam; since then the trio has been living together. Angel has now spilled the beans about their polyamorous relationship that comes with its own share of ups and downs in a Truly YouTube video. But she also asserted, “Most people are lucky if they find one person to love, but we're lucky enough to have found two.”

Explaining how it all started, Angel said she and Sam first kissed each other in college but that did not mean much to them. However, later when the duo went to a music festival with Tyler, their romance blossomed. “All three of us went to the festival and just with the music and maybe a little bit of alcohol involved Sam and I just started kissing. And then Tyler was like: ‘Well, that's pretty cool.’ It just kind of developed from there,” she recalled.
They all initially thought it was just a one-night fun, but they were wrong, and last year, Sam shifted with Angel and Tyler. Angel, however, noted that their ship did not sail smoothly at the beginning. She said, “We were scared to open up to each other, it’s intimidating to add a whole other person into your life that you can depend upon. I was being selfish but have worked through my jealousy. Now they go on dates, we go on dates, and all three of us go on dates.”
Not just that, they have to map out things before sex. Despite sharing bed, the trio do not always have sex together. So, when two of the three want to have sex, the third one leaves the bedroom. Another issue they faced was to tell their respective families about their unique relationship. While both the girls’ families accepted it, Tyler’s relatives were disappointed.
The Daily Mail reported that the man’s cousin did not attend his wedding after knowing about the truth of his relationship. Tyler's aunt also did not allow her daughter to be part of the function.

The throuple also gets a lot of hate comments from people online. They claim they have been called “sinners” and told that they won’t be together long. However, instead of focusing on them, Tyler claimed that he will “propose to Sam in the next couple years”. The trio has a common Instagram account and they also make videos for TikTok together. One post on their social media page was from Angel and Tyler’s wedding that also included Sam in it. The caption of it read: “Such a beautiful, magical day. ✨️ Angel is now Angel Hays! They'll be together the rest of their days. 🌞💍”
