KANYE DOWN UNDER: Kanye West trolled after Australia says he may be REFUSED visa over antisemitic rant
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, could be refused a visa over his antisemitic comments if he attempts to visit Australia. It is reported that the rapper was planning to visit the country to meet the family of his wife, Bianca Censori, an architectural designer at Yeezy whom he married recently.
According to ABC, condemning Kanye’s anti-Semitic comments involving Hitler and the Holocaust, Education Minister Jason Clare said that describing such comments as awful "would be an understatement".
"I don't know if he's applied for a visa yet — but Google it, you will see that he seems like he's a pretty big fan of a person who killed 6 million Jewish people last century," he said and added, "People like that who've applied for visas to get into Australia in the past have been rejected. I expect that if he does apply, he would have to go through the same process and answer the same questions that they did."

While federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said if he was still in government, his "inclination would be not to allow him in". "His anti-Semitic comments are disgraceful, his conduct and his behaviour is appalling, and he's not a person of good character. The minister has the ability to stop somebody coming into our country of bad character. So, the minister's got a lot to weigh up, but I must say my instinct would be if I was that decision-maker, I think there are better people we could welcome in," he said.
Netizens too reacted with one of them commenting, "100% visa ban. Get it done." Another said, "We don't need antisemitic trash who idolise Hitler down here. The immigration minister has the right to veto visa applications on character grounds and should do so." One of many suggested, "Cancel his US passport too."
Commenting on it, Alex Ryvchin, an Australian author, advocate, media commentator, and lawyer, said, "We have written to the Minister for Immigration calling for #Kanye West to be denied a visa into Australia. It has to be made clear that inciting hatred, spreading racist myths and Nazi glorification is not ok." David Coleman, an Australian politician, wrote, "No way Kanye West passes the character provisions of the Migration Act. Easy decision for @andrewjgiles if he applies for a visa."
