Who is Kaitlyn Myers? 'The Voice' singer fails to impress judges, but fans say they 'pushed the button' for her

Kaitlyn Myers didn't impress the judges, but fans are still rooting for her and feel she could have gone a long way if given the chance

Kaitlyn Myers had a disappointing experience on 'The Voice' as none of the single chairs turned from the judges. The 18-year-old auditioned for the singing reality show. 

Kaitlyn Myers is an independent singer and songwriter. She is extremely passionate about mental health and social justice. She has written and released an EP called 'Chasing Dopamine', inspired by her struggles with depersonalization. She has also released a single called 'Star Spangled Revolution'. All the proceeds from the single were donated to organizations that benefit the 'Black Lives Matter' Movement.

As for her musical style, Kaitlyn is influenced by Motown, soul and pop artists. Billie Eilish is also clearly an inspiration and you can catch Kaitlyn's cover of Billie Eilish's 'Xanny' below. Kaitlyn has quite a supportive and loyal following on Tik Tok and it seems that even with her brief performance on 'The Voice', fans are still rooting for her even if the judges weren't.

Fans felt that the young singer could have gone a long way on 'The Voice' if she was given the chance.

Another fan gave Kaitlyn's previous work a shoutout to encourage the young singer: "kaitlyn myers the little girl with the big voice has AMAZING songs on spotify!!!! check them out for sure!" A fan felt that her voice and her musical ability had not been given its due on 'The Voice'. "Kaitlyn Myers has such a sumptuous tone and stage presence. Love the energy, she nails those long notes but doesn’t get a chair? #TheVoice."

Well, this is not the first time a contestant has not received a chair turn from the judges. The question now is, will Kaitlyn try again next year for 'The Voice' Season 21?

Well, it certainly looks like she has plenty of fans who are encouraging her if she ever does want to take that step again.
