Artist of the moment Kacey Musgraves just wrapped up her tour opening for Harry Styles and recently released the retro video to her latest single 'High Horse' and it doesn't look like she plans to slow down. Musgraves has just confirmed that, early next year, she will embark on her 'Oh, What a World Tour', a sprawling set of North American headlining dates in support of her highly acclaimed 2018 album 'Golden Hour'.

The album featured on the number 18 spot on our list of Top 20 albums in April. "On her latest release, Kacey Musgraves continues her quest to broaden the horizons of country music but with a radical shift from her previous sound," we wrote at the time.

"With strings, vocoders and electronic beats, she introduces sounds unfamiliar to the genre, including Bee-Gees style disco beats ('High Horse') and pop synth hooks ('Velvet Elvis'). The result is Musgraves’ most accessible record and her most ambitious, a culmination of her pop and country instincts. And it's all done with such grace that even the toughest of country purists will find themselves grooving along, making the album a deft crossover between two disparate genres."

The two-month tour kicks off in Indianapolis on January 19 and will feature a wide range of opening acts, from indie rockers Natalie Prass and Soccer Mommy to Nashville-based pop-leaning artists Liza Anne and Sinclair. Musgraves will play multiple nights at Los Angeles’ Ace Hotel, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and Austin’s Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater along the way before finally wrapping things up on March 21 at Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama.

Artist pre-sale for the North American dates is available now via Musgraves' official website with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday (July 20) at 10 am local time. The North American dates follow Kacey’s previously announced European dates which begin October 13 in Oslo and conclude in Dublin on November 6.
