Justin Bieber has just unveiled the trailer for a new docuseries in 2020 that promises fans a more in-depth look at the popstar's life and motivations.  The new show is an exclusive YouTube Originals series and will premiere on January 27, 2020.

After nearly four years of laying low — he only started teasing his new single 'Yummy' along with a forthcoming album and tour last week on social media.

Bieber has now released a nearly two-minute-long trailer for a docu-series that showcases an evolution in his music, personal growth, and the shining, enduring moments that make him one of the most beloved pop stars on the planet.

The trailer starts off with a seated Justin Bieber looking straight at the camera with a serious expression and an off-camera interviewer asking him, "You want to start by talking about the last four years?" To which Bieber sombrely nods and just says, "Wow."

After that, we dive right straight the deep, murky depths — we see headline after headline of various news articles flash by, each proclaiming that "Justin Bieber is canceling the rest of his 'Purpose' world tour" due to him wanting to maintain "a healthy mind, heart, and soul."

He even reaches out to fans, asking them to "pray for him." Things were clearly not going very well in the kingdom of the pop princeling. A consummate professional, Bieber would never shrug off performance dates and a chance to connect with fans unless something had gone seriously awry in his personal life.

And that's what this intimate docuseries promises to give us a better understanding about, as we follow Justin Bieber during his self-imposed break away from the spotlight and the scrutiny of millions.

We're right there with him as he goes through the highs and lows of his life — from meeting his wife to genuine moments of introspection and soul searching. It's a look at what makes Justin tick as a person — without the mask, unfiltered and in his own words.

At the end of the day, he's just another fun-loving youngster who really loves music, despite the pressure he's constantly under.

And he wants to share that joy with millions of his fans by entertaining them with his undoubted musical talents — we get to see him playing drums, goofing off with his wife, and finally getting back in the studio to record another album.

We're also treated to some snippets from that forthcoming album, which includes the previously-teased single 'Yummy.'

The YouTube Originals series premieres on January 27 at noon EST, with new episodes arriving on Mondays and Wednesdays. You can watch the full trailer for Justin Bieber: Seasons below.
