Julia Wandelt's claim of being Madeleine McCann is a HOAX to push her singing career, claims reporter
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A TikTok reporter from London has hit back at Julia Wandelt, who claims she was Madeleine McCann. Chris Chandler alleged that Fia Johansson, who is reportedly handling Wandelt's case and is living with her in the US, was not working in her favor but just taking advantage of her for fame. It should be recalled that Wandlet also uses the surnames Wendell and Faustyna.
The 34-year-old social media user, who has shared his doubts over the Polish woman previously as well, told The Daily Star, “There’s two sides, either she believes she’s Madeleine McCann and is the real deal and I’ve been miraculously wrong over the last week, or she is Madeleine - and oh my goodness what a massive story that would be.”

‘An elaborate hoax’
“But this could all be an elaborate hoax for her to push her career. Her mother said in a statement that she always wanted to be a singer. This is when I started to connect the dots,” the TikToker stated.
Chandler then went on to mention a statement that was issued by the 21-year-old’s family. It read, “For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece. We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.”
The statement accused Wandelt of being a mental patient and the one who wanted to be famous. It added, “We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia. Numerous therapies, medicines, psychologists, and psychiatrists - Julia had it all guaranteed. She wasn't left alone.
“Threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the internet. We've seen it all and we've tried to prevent it, to explain, we've asked her to stop. Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now [is] she got one million followers," it concluded.
‘I find it very, very suspicious’
Referring to the family’s account, Chandler said that Johannson attempted to label it bogus but on ‘Dr Phil’, the statement was brought on, meaning “it wasn’t fake." He told the publication, “Perhaps this is just to do with her music career because I find it very, very suspicious because the family are saying that she is lying, it’s a hoax and that she wants to become a singer and then all of a sudden she’s doing karaoke on Instagram and apparently she’s written 72 songs!”
‘I definitely do think she does need support’
Chandler also pointed out, “Every time something comes out it’s posted on her [Johannson] Instagram story. As Julia was leaving for Poland she [Johansson] said to her ‘what would you like to say to your fans and followers?'"
“Someone claiming she is, or could be Madeleine McCann…you wouldn’t use the terminology ‘fans’ or ‘followers’ would you?” he continued, adding, “I’m 99.9% convinced that she’s not Madeleine McCann in my mind. I definitely do think she does need support, whatever the outcome is the girl needs help. It would be a very sick thing if it turns out that she is part of it as well. It’s being an apparent hoax.”
