LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Julia Wandelt, who believes she is Madeleine McCann, was frustrated during her 'Dr Phil' appearance over her supposedly biological Polish family’s insistence that she is not the missing British child, a body language expert stated. Adrianne Carter also claimed that the 21-year-old is not sure about her biological mother either.

Julia tightens her lips at the end of the statement when hearing she isn't Madeleine from her family statement. Lip tightening is a sign of annoyance. She is annoyed that her family is saying she isn't Madeleine,” Carter told The Daily Star.

‘Julia could be feeling stressed’

The expert, who is also called ‘The Face Whisperer’, told the publication that when the show’s host mentioned her alleged real mother from Poland, the young woman gave away signs of "no confidence." She stated, “One-sided shoulder shrug from Julia when being asked if her mother gave birth to her. A one-sided shoulder shrug happens when we have no conviction or confidence in what we just heard or said. In this context of the one-sided shoulder shrug, Julia doesn't believe her mother gave birth to her."

Carter also raised questions about Julia’s claims. She hinted that the Polish woman was not being completely honest and could be hiding the truth. The expert reportedly shared, “We see Julia swallow when hearing the statement from her parents. A swallow is an unconscious gesture when we are stressed or fearful. In this context, Julia could be feeling stressed or fearful in case any evidence comes to light that proves she isn't Maddie.”

She also added, “When being asked about DNA results, we see Julia take an intake of breath. This is a sign of feeling fearful. I think she's fearful of the results of the DNA as it could prove her claims false.”

‘We’ve asked her to stop’

The statement from Julia’s family, which was brought up on Dr Phil, was, “For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece. We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.”

“We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia. Numerous therapies, medicines, psychologists, and psychiatrists - Julia had it all guaranteed. She wasn't left alone. Threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the internet. We've seen it all and we've tried to prevent it, to explain, we've asked her to stop. Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now [is] she got one million followers,” the statement added.

‘I really know this voice’

The statement was issued days before Julia sent a direct message to Madeleine’s parents – Kate and Gerry McCann. She reportedly said, “I want to say something to Kate McCann: I listened to a song that you sang to your daughter Madeleine. When I hear your voice — from movies, from interviews — I feel like I really know this voice, your voice. I really believe that I could be Madeleine.”

The woman asserted, “I have a message to McCann's family… I want to say that I really believe I can be Madeleine, your daughter, but if I'm not, I'm over 100 percent sure that the person who abused me is involved because I recognize a picture from the site findmadeleine.com. We have to wait for (DNA) results, but I think even if I am not — I want to believe that I am.”
