Julia Wandelt sends message to Madeleine McCann's parents Kate and Gerry
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Polish national Julia Wandelt, who believes she might be the missing Madeleine McCann, has issued a direct message for the latter's parents Kate and Gerry McCann. Wandelt, who also goes by Julia Faustyna and Julia Wendell, asserted, “I really believe that I could be Madeleine.”
After watching Kate singing to Madeleine in a clip, Julia felt that she had listened to that voice in her younger days, she told RadarOnline.com. “I want to say something to Kate McCann: I listened to a song that you sang to your daughter Madeleine. When I hear your voice — from movies, from interviews — I feel like I really know this voice, your voice. I really believe that I could be Madeleine.”

‘Nobody listened to me’
The 21-year-old also slammed Interpol and law enforcement agencies of Poland, England, and Portugal for not taking her claims seriously. This includes the accusation that a man sexually abused her during childhood. The same person was reportedly tagged as a suspect in Madeleine’s case as well.

Julia told RadarOnline.com reporter Samantha Benitz, “If I am not Madeleine McCann, I know that I can open this case again. I tried to talk with many authorities back in 2022. I talked with the embassy in Poland, the embassy in Portugal, the embassy in England, Metropolitan Police with Operation Grange (the long-running, multi-million-dollar British police operation to find out what happened to Madeleine), with Interpol, with Polish police, Portugal police… but nobody listened to me.”
‘I want to expose my abuser’
She continued, “I have a message to McCann's family… I want to say that I really believe I can be Madeleine, your daughter, but if I'm not, I'm over 100 percent sure that the person who abused me is involved because I recognize a picture from the site findmadeleine.com,” before adding, “We have to wait for (DNA) results, but I think even if I am not — I want to believe that I am."
“I want to help by exposing my abuser because I am over 100 percent sure that this drawing from page findmadeleine.com… this is a picture of my abuser. I know his face. I know that this is this person. I hope we will know the truth and I am sure that we will know.”

‘Julia is our daughter’
This comes after Julia’s alleged biological family in Poland shared a statement claiming that she’s a mental patient. They said in a statement, “For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece. We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos, because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.”
“We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia. Numerous therapies, medicines, psychologists, and psychiatrists - Julia had it all guaranteed. She wasn't left alone. Threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the internet. We've seen it all and we've tried to prevent it, to explain, we've asked her to stop. Julia once wanted to be a singer, a model. She always wanted to be popular. What's happening now [is] she got one million followers,” the statement concluded.
