LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On a recent episode of 'The View,' actor James Brolin joined the panel to talk about his career and his role as a narrator on the series 'Sweet Tooth' The conversation took an awkward turn, however, when the topic of discussion shifted to his son Josh Brolin's recent Instagram post. Earlier this week, Josh posted a picture of himself wearing a cowboy hat, sitting cross-legged in a chair, and announcing that he was preparing for a scene for 'Outer Range' Season 2. The photo caused a stir because Josh was completely naked, albeit with strategic covering.

As 'The View' hosts discussed Josh's post, they decided to show the photo on the air while James was still present. James seemed unprepared and unaware of what was happening as he turned to see the photo on the screen and exclaimed, "Oh my God," before quickly turning away. The moment was undoubtedly embarrassing and highlighted how risky it is to discuss sensitive topics live on television. Nonetheless, the conversation continued, with the hosts noting that Josh's post was indicative of a changing industry and the need to be sensitive to changing norms.

'He is always nude'

During a recent episode of 'The View,' the conversation turned to actor James Brolin's son, Josh Brolin, and his recent nude photo posted on Instagram. Sara Haines brought up the topic, saying, "Your son, Josh, famously followed in your footsteps and became an actor. He recently posted a photo that got a lot of people’s attention because he was nude." James responded, "Well, he’s always nude. I mean, all night. He gets dressed in the daytime," which elicited giggles from the hosts. Meanwhile, 'The View' decided to display Josh's photo on the screen behind the table. James appeared to be caught off guard and unaware of what was happening, as he turned to see the photo on the screen and exclaimed, "Oh my God!" before quickly turning away. Later, James commented on the experience, saying, "You know, you raise them up and turn them loose, and good luck, if they even call you!" The panel couldn't help but laugh. Josh had previously shared the photo on Instagram, explaining that it was taken during a lunch break while filming 'Outer Range' in the Santa Fe desert. He wrote, "We are taking things in a different direction now. It's a shifting world and we have to be sensitive to all. Power of example is everything, so examples we are."

Let's take a look at how the fans reacted to Josh's racy Instagram post.

'That's my Thanos'

After playing the eternal MCU villain Thanos, Josh Brolin's raunchy Instagram post caused fans to go into a frenzy as they had a field day in the comments section of the post. In a hilarious response, one fan said, " THANOS WHAT THE HELL," while another fan wrote, "Thanos after the snap." Keeping up with the hilarious reactions celebrity Luke Hemsworth also joined in as he wrote, " Do you know the song "your balls r hangin through the old cane chair? Hum a few bars and I'll see if I can pick it up." Fans didn't hold back on their puns and one of them wrote, "No Clothes For Old Men," referencing Josh's film 'No Country For Old Men.' One of the fans was seemingly impressed with the actor's bravado as they wrote, "That's my Thanos."
