Paying an emotional tribute, Jordan’s stepmother, Jessica Cashmyer, logged in from her husband’s Dennis M. Cashmyer Jr. Facebook account and stated, “Last night I received a call no parent ever wants. My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old. Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER.” The cause of Jordan's death has not been revealed as yet.
She added, “Please keep my family in your thoughts prayers as we navigate through this terrible tragedy. Please understand and respect our privacy at this time. We are surrounded by the love and support of our children, grand-daughter Lyla and family members.” The cause of her death was no revealed by Jordan’s family members. The official Twitter account of Teen Mom took bid her a farewell saying, “We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Jordan Cashmyer. Our hearts go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.”

Who was Jordan Cashmyer’s boyfriend?
Jordan was around 18 or 19 when she was featured on MTV’s show ‘16 and Pregnant’. Jordan’s then-boyfriend Derek Taylor too got featured on the show as the couple was expecting a baby. The episode aired her and Derek Taylor’s struggles with homelessness and unemployment while they were expecting their daughter Genevieve fondly known as Evie. The two ultimately broke up after her segment on the series ended. The show also featured her getting kicked out by her parents after she once refused to split with Derek. Jordan gave birth to her second daughter Lyla, in June 2021 with her new beau. Information on Derek and Jordan's new beau is scarce, but MEAWW will update once we get details.
Jordan, who continuously faced homelessness and unemployment, was hospitalized for a suicide attempt in November 2014 and checked into rehab in 2016.
