'Happiness Continues': Jonas Brothers crash fans' Zoom watch parties in celebration of their new movie
The Jonas Brothers' new movie 'Happiness Continues: A Jonas Brothers Concert Film' is now available to stream on Amazon Prime. 'Happiness Continues' documents the group's rise to fame, breakup and eventual reunion.
It is a sequel of sorts to the brothers' 2019 film, 'Chasing Happiness', which charted the Jonas Brothers struggle on the road to success as well as the toll it took on them, which resulted in their eventual split and fracturing of their relationship with one another.
Both movies are highly emotional journeys that see the Jonas Brothers at their most vulnerable, opening up to their fans and inviting them into their lives.
"I still can't believe I got to experience Happiness Begins twice," tweeted one fan, adding, "I was hoping they would do a concert movie of the tour, but I never expected them to. So thankful for this. #HappinessContinues," while another stated, "Watching #HappinessContinues. It takes me back."
One fan reminisced, "Drunk Jonas Brothers playing BB Good with the og band members in a small venue in Chicago...ARE YOU KIDDING ME. #HappinessContinues," and another said, "I don’t mean to be dramatic but #HappinessContinues is the greatest film of all time."
Some fans could not help but gush over Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. One fan tweeted, "I close my eyes for half the song. Because I'm singing to her. I have to find my sense of home. YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND MY LOVE FOR @joejonas and SOPHIE TURNER #HappinessContinues."
Fans were also moved to tears hearing some of their favorite Jonas Brothers songs, stating, "'When you look me in the eyes' is a song that ALWAYS ALWAYS will make me cry." Others complimented Nick Jonas' voice, tweeting "Nick Jonas' voice is like melted butter #HappinessContinues."
And most fans just fell in love with the brothers all over again. "I somehow love the Jonas Brothers more now than I did when I was younger?? #HappinessContinues," tweeted one fan.
Some fans had concerns around watching 'Happiness Continues' due to it being on Amazon Prime, stating "I need amazon prime so I can see #HappinessContinues, but I also don’t wanna give money to Jeff Bezos."
Those who did watch the movie, however, wanted more. "All I can think of while watching #HappinessContinues is 'WTF IS TAKING SO LONG FOR A WORLD TOUR????'" tweets one fan.
But in the absence of a world tour, something that is currently highly unlikely given the current world situation, the Jonas Brothers have given fans a different gift — they decided to crash their Zoom parties.
As many Jonas fans eagerly awaited the brothers' arrival via Zoom, tweeting, "SUPER HOPING TO GET ZOOM CRASHED," others, sadly, did not have a Zoom party on for the night.
One dejected fan tweeted, "The @jonasbrothers crashing people’s zoom parties and I’m over here just watching it by myself.. it’s fine.. I’m fine.. no big deal.. #JonasWatchParty."
Those that did get to chat with the Jonas Brothers on Zoom, however, proceeded to spend the night screaming. "JOE JUST GAVE ME A VIRTUAL HUG WTAFFF MY JOE BUCKET LIST IS COMPLETE #JonasWatchParty STFU @joejonas," tweeted one fan.
Another said, "Oh my god!!! @kevinjonas just crashed our zoom!!!! #JonasWatchParty." One fan stated, "JOE JONAS JUST CRASHED MY ZOOM PARTY IM SHAKING," and another tweeted, "NICK JONAS CRASHED ANNABELL’S ZOOM IM GOING TO SCREAM." Needless to say, the Jonas fans have had a truly blessed night.
Interestingly, it appears that the Jonas Brothers' fandom boasts a record number of teachers. One tweeted, "Most teachers are rewarding themselves tonight with a bottle of wine... me? I'm relaxing tonight with @jonasbrothers #HappinessContinues Doc. #JonasWatchParty @kevinjonas."
Another said, "What do teachers on Friday night? Wait for the Jonas Brothers to join their zoom. #HappinessContinues."
The brothers ended the night by tweeting, "That was so much fun getting to surprise you guys / Thanks for having us on your Zooms!! Hope you all have an amazing rest of your Friday night and enjoy #HappinessContinues. Love you guys!! #JonasWatchParty."
