Although Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio played brothers in the 1993 film 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape,' the former admitted he made it difficult for Leo while filming, which fetched the pair's performances global appreciation and acclaim.

Johnny revealed he was going through a hard phase while filming 'What’s Eating Gilbert Grape'. At that time, the 'Titanic' star was just 19. In an old interview with Cosmopolitan, Johnny said that this caused him to be rough with Leo on set.

The 59-year-old actor said, “It was a hard time for me, that film, for some reason. I don’t know why. I tortured him. I really did. He was always talking about these video games, you know? I told you it was kind of a dark period. I was like, ‘No, I will not give you a drag of my cigarette while you hide from your mother again, Leo.’”

Johnny also added that he respects Leo as an artist and what he had done in the film. He said, “I’d say the absolute truth is that I respect Leo a lot. He worked really hard on that film and spent a lot of time researching. He came to set, and he was ready to work hard, and all his ducks were in a row.”

The 'Edward Scissorhands' star surprised his fans with a short appearance at the 2022 MTV VMAs. Dressed as the show’s mascot- the iconic moon person, a hologram of the actor’s face was imposed on the suit that got the fans jumping of out their seats. This happened right after the much-publicized defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star while floating in the air joked that he needed work. This was the 59-year-old actor’s very first appearance on TV after he came as a guest on 'Jimmy Kimmel' in 2017.

Meanwhile, Leo was in the news due to his breakup with Camila Morrone, 25. The actor has reportedly begun dating model Gigi Hadid, revealed by an insider to The Sun. MEAWW had previously stated that the Oscar-winning actor was "getting to know" supermodel Gigi, but photos of the pair cuddling up at a New York City event added clarity to their relationship's status. According to a source, DiCaprio "wants to keep it under wraps."
