John Cena and wife Shay Shariatzadeh look elegant as they leave airport holding hands
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: John Cena and his wife looked chic as they made their way out of the airport in Australia. The WWE star and his wife Shay Shariatzadeh were seen leaving the airport holding hands while carrying their luggage as they reached Sydney, Australia. John was suited for the trip while his wife opted for a more casual look, as they departed the airport. The couple's travel to Australia takes place just before the E! premiere of John's ex-girlfriend Nikki Bella.
The 'Peacemaker' actor wore a three-piece pinstriped suit in dark blue that included a vest and a white shirt underneath. He completed his look by donning a pair of brown shoes. Shay wore grey loungers and a matching crop top paired with white sandals. John and Shay were married in an intimate ceremony in Vancouver in the presence of their family and friends. After a year of dating, the 'Trainwreck' star and Shariatzadeh were legally married on October 12, 2020, in a Hillsborough County, FL courthouse.

Their trip to Australia comes just ahead of John's ex-girlfriend Nikki Bella's wedding special airs on E! They started dating in 2012 and were engaged in 2017, but broke up before their wedding in 2018. In August 2021, Nikki Bella, 39, wed Artem Chigvintsev in a ceremony that took place in Paris and their special 'Nikki Bella Says I Do' will air on January 26 at 9 pm. John was briefly married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 until 2012 before he started dating Nikki.
Shay and John met while filming at a Vancouver restaurant where she was dining with friends. “There was one woman I was looking at and I couldn’t take my eyes off her… that’s when it started,” John said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. John has frequently expressed in interviews how much he adores Shay. In a January 2022 appearance on Ellen, he said that if he could swap places with anyone for the day, it would be his wife. “I often talk with my wife. I would switch places with her, and I would want her to switch places with me,” he said.
John looks to have a busy year ahead of him! Currently, the actor plays the actor's Suicide Squad character in the HBO series Peacemaker. In addition, according to IMDb, he has eight projects scheduled to release in the future year, including the upcoming WWE 2K23 computer game.
