'Girls Gone Wild' founder Joe Francis claps back at backlash over old pic of him ‘checking out’ 18-yr-old Kylie Jenner
GEORGIA, UNITED STATES: Joe Francis, founder of 'Girls Gone Wild' landed into major trouble after he posted a throwback picture from Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday celebration. The picture posted by the film producer appeared like him checking out young Kylie while they were hanging out on a yacht. Besides Kylie, the picture featured the young billionaire's best friends Stassie Karanikolaou and Pia Mia Perez.
The father of twin daughters posted on Instagram, "Happy Birthday @kyliejenner!! I’m so proud of you and all your success!! It seems like yesterday that we were celebrating your 18th birthday together @casaaramara ❤️🎉🍾💕" Joe captioned the post. Although Joe was quick to shut down the trolls by claiming that Kylie is like his sister, he deleted the comments soon after.

The throwback picture drew a lot of flak from social media users who believed Joe was checking out Kylie. A user stated, "The guy that made millions off young/ underage college girls showing boobies on VHS? And then spent years in hiding, evading taxes. Who also had his home suspiciously burned down." Another user added, "It’s not very PC but for me portnoy is the joe Francis* of this generation. I’m enjoying a great video then he shows up, old as hell, and ruins it *this a memory of mine, not a current event".

How Joe responded
The criticism led Joe to shut down the trolls. When a user questioned, "You didn’t have a better picture — one where you weren’t checking her out?”, Joe responded in a now-deleted comment, "all straight men are looking at beautiful women. That’s why I’m so successful. Are you saying you hate God for making us this way? No other straight man is different or girls gone wild wouldn’t have made billions of dollars.” Joe further added to the comment, “She is like my sister, I think you are the creepy one. Why would you even think that? I used to date her sister @kourtneykardash,” he wrote. “I have three sisters too. I would never ever have sex with my sisters. That’s gross!!”
Meanwhile, Kylie is planning to relaunch her Kylie Swim line after fans complained of the swimsuits being “cheap.” The 24-year-old, who launched Kylie Swim in September 2021 before closing it down, will soon come up with a new line of bathing suits.
