Jesse McCartney released his new song, "Better with you" earlier this year and this has officially marked his comeback. After four years of silence, he finally came out with a beautiful hit song that leaves listeners wanting for more.

The nostalgic tones of "Better with you" reminds you instantly of McCartney's 2004 hit song "Beautiful soul". He tells Teen Vogue, " It sounds like a "Beautiful Soul" of 2018." The soundtrack is mainly on the guitar. He mentions that it reminds him of his earlier works.

In 2015 the pop star decided it was time to call it quits after releasing his album 'In Technicolor'. He wanted to take a break from music to tour and explore new things. He took his time traveling and exploring new cultures during his two-year break. He was also excited about mastering the skill of grilling.

Come 2017, he made a few appearances in TV shows like 'fear the Walking Dead' and ' Young & Hungry'. He then went to a songwriters camp in Nashville and explored country music, a new genre,  for the first time in his music career.

This reminded him of his 'pop star' past and inspired him to come back to music. This experience inspired him to write "Better with you". Amongst talks of the comeback he also lets in how we can expect an album soon.

McCartney officially released his new single, “Better With You,” on March 23, which seems like a throwback to his earlier days of sugary love songs when reading its sweet lyrics.

There is a feeling of hope to the song he has created which will eventually be a part of an album, that is causing a positive reaction from the fans. And even though he has only released "Better with you", McCartney feels that the four-year break was the best thing for him and his music career.
