'I hope you’re ready!' Jeremy Renner teases new show 'Rennervations' as he recovers from horrific snowplow accident
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jeremy Renner announced that his new show 'Rennervations' will premiere "as soon as I'm back on my feet," and shared a still from it with his fans after breaking more than 30 bones in a snowplow accident. While still recovering, the actor, who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel superhero movies, released a still from the upcoming Disney+ series.
'Rennervations' is a four-part original series in which Renner highlights his penchant for supporting local communities by reinventing custom vehicles designed specifically for certain areas. He wrote on Instagram, "We are so very excited to share the #rennervation show with you all on @disneyplus coming very soon! As soon as I'm back on my feet, we are coming to YOU, all across the globe... I hope you're ready!"

Jeremy Renner will renovate vehicles in the new series
According to Disney, "Jeremy is a construction aficionado, and he is heavily invested in the highly creative fabricator culture that exists across the globe and hopes to change lives with these skills and inspire others to do the same." Renner posted the teaser for the show on Instagram on December 30, the day before his accident. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters after Christmas, SkyNews reports.
In the new series, Jeremy travels the globe helping various communities with renovations. however, 'Rennervations' uses custom-built cars, not houses, to meet a community's needs. As soon as the project was announced, fans expressed their excitement in the comments, wishing Jeremy luck. One said the series sounds "fantastic," but added, "Don’t hurry too much to get back on your feet, make sure you are fully recovered. We can wait!" In the tens of thousands of comments, fans expressed the same opinion, stating that they were eager to see 'Rennervations' but that they should first "focus on their recovery" before tackling a second season.
Renner was crushed by snowplow while trying to save his nephew
On New Year's Day, the 52-year-old tried to climb into the cab of a six-ton plow to stop it as it raced toward his nephew, Alexander Fries. Instead, he was swept under the tracks because the parking brake was "not engaged" and broke more than 30 bones. Jeremy had used the Snowcat to pull his nephew's pickup truck out of the snow, but the parking brake was "not engaged," according to the Nevada sheriff's report on the horrific collision, CNN reports.
Mr Renner suffered injuries to his "head, face, extremities and torso." The actor thanked fans and supporters who have offered him love and encouragement and updated followers on his rehabilitation process. He said that his broken bones would "grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens."
After two weeks of recuperating in the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, Jeremy went back home. He recently posted a video on Instagram from his hospital bed.
