One of these finalists is Matt Amodio, the beloved smart, and endearing character who never did anything wrong ... until he did. Amodio must be the third name that comes to mind after Ken Jennings and Amy Schnieder, especially in light of his most recent tweet.
‘Jeopardy! Masters,’ contestants, and fans frequently use Twitter to share their ideas and opinions on the show. Amodio did just that following a disappointing loss in the most recent episode, that too in a category he was confident about. Fortunately for him, supporters have come to his rescue.

Matt Amodio’s sarcastic tweet!
Amodio’s disappointment was reflected in his tweet as he wrote, "Tonight I made the cardinal sin of appearing on an ABC trivia show without an encyclopedic knowledge of all moderately successful shows in the ABC corporate portfolio. Do I have time to watch the entire Hulu catalog before Monday's #JeopardyMasters?" This happened after Matt was unable to answer a question under the TV title references category, which he seemed fairly confident about. The question that lost him $9600 was "What is the slang meaning undergoing the terrible agony of withdrawal from opiates like oxytocin?” The answer was ‘Dopesick’ and Amodio was far from it!
In addition to this loss, Amodio also answered the next question wrong, securing third place overall. It’s no wonder he was feeling bitter and sarcastic when he took to Twitter later in the day! Lucky for him, his fans were around to support him.

‘Hang in there’
Amodio has a lot of fans and lovers from his previous appearance in the game show, as well as 'Jeopardy! Masters' who came to his rescue after his tweet. Some were concerned, others showered him with love, but the general consensus is that Amodio will be fine! One fan wrote “It ain’t over till it’s over! Good luck, Matt! Love watching you & all the masters!” another tweeted, “Ahhh sad but hopefully you are having fun no matter what the outcome is.” Hopefully, these tweets give Amodio the boost he needs as a concerned fan writes, “You don't seem like your usual self Matt. Worried for you. Hope you can return to form soon.”

Some fans have truly put all their faith in this ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ contestants as they write, “It was so fun to see you play. I'm certain you will go on to do great things that change the world.” While all masters in this game show have garnered a fan following, Amodio does emerge as one of the more popular ones as a fan of his tweets, “Rooting for you, Matt!! Sure wish you would have known that Daily Double answer! I like all 6 of the 'Masters'- but I do want you to win! (No pressure, lol) ;)” And of course, there is some much-needed advice too as one tweet read, “I guess you need to know 'Everything, Everwhere all at Once'. Impossible I know. Hang in there.” Surely Amodio can appreciate the movie reference!
