CAPRI, ITALY: Jennifer Lopez, 53, is promoting her cocktail brand ‘Delola’ in style while looking ravishing in a snug-fitted yellow swimsuit. The ‘Shotgun Wedding’ star, who recently launched her alcoholic beverages brand, took the opportunity of sharing her sun-kissed photos from Capri in Italy to welcome summer in style. 

Wearing a bright yellow, deep-cut body-hugging swimsuit, the ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star posed for the camera while showing off her envious curves and sun-kissed complexion. Her choice of accessories was equally interesting as she covered her gorgeous mane with a multi-colored headscarf and wore a pair of gold hoops along with a tinted pair of sunglasses.

The wife of Ben Affleck shared a carousel of three photos, where in two photos, she looked directly at the camera, while in the third one, a bottle of Delola is the star of the show. ‘The Mother’ star captioned her post with, “Summer is finally here ☀️ @Delola is the official drink of the summer … so sit back, open a bottle, pour over ice & enjoy! 🩵 XOXO, Lola #DelolaLife 📸 @gregswalesart.”



 

Lopez’s brand name is inspired by her nickname ‘Lola’ which stands for a “more playful, carefree side” of Lopez, as per Daily Mail. However, fans didn’t take kindly to her venture into the booze business as the ‘Jersey Girl’ star by her own admission doesn’t drink alcohol. In 2016, Lopez told Hollywood Life, “I don’t drink, or smoke, or have caffeine,” before adding, “That really wrecks your skin as you get older.”

'This is disappointing'

Discontent among fans brewed up in April when Lopez launched her brand. She shared a video clip on Instagram with the caption, "The secret is out!!! I’m proud to share with you @DELOLA … my new collection of unique, mixology-level ready to enjoy spritzes. More is #OnTheJLo. Let’s live the #DelolaLife together ✨💙 📸 @gregswalesart." Through this post, she not only showed off a fun-filled video but also talked at length about launching Delola. However, fans were not happy that she promoted alcohol despite being a non-alcoholic herself. 



 

'I thought JLo didn’t drink?'

One dissenter said, "This chick always has an angle. Sold by the supposed non alcohol drinker 😂😂." Another one asked curiously, "So curious about this business decision… when your new hubby has the history he does, and has talked openly about sobriety and the alcohol industry- genuinely interested ❤️." Another remarked pensively, "Uh… I thought JLo didn’t drink? But I’m supposed to buy an alcohol she owns?!?!"

Another discontent fan even said, "It's not officially summer until June 21st, memorial weekend isn't about cookouts or to kick off a pre early summer, it's about our fallen soldiers 🫡." Someone else commented, "Much filters and Photoshop!!!!!!"
