'No hard feelings': Leah Remini a NO-SHOW at BFF Jennifer Lopez's wedding with Ben Affleck
RICEBORO, GEORGIA: Jennifer Lopez's wedding with Ben Affleck made a lost of headlines. The couple, who first got married in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16, said their vows once again on August 19, 2022. However, the three-day grand wedding weekend bash was missing a few notable faces. Among these were Leah Remini, long-time close friend of the 'Jenny From The Block' singer.
Remini, 52, has an 18-year-old daughter with husband, Angelo Pagan. With the summer soon ending, Sofia Pagan will be heading off to college. So, making the most out of her time with her daughter, Remini decided to prioritize family and skip the grand affair.

According to TMZ, Remini's absence was due to a scheduling conflict and that the 'On The Floor' singer and the 'King of Queens' actress remain friends with no hard feelings. The traditional wedding took place over the weekend in Georgia. Others not in attendance included Ben’s brother Casey Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
While Lopez has been busy with her nuptials, Remini on the other hand, has been fulfilling her mom-duties. Sharing a family-picture on her wedding anniversary with husband Angelo, she also speaks of their "greatest accomplishment together" - their daughter.
In the caption, she writes of her daughter who is about to be a college student. "One day she was the little girl we could protect from the world, and now she’s off to make the most of her life on her terms. As hard as it is to be at the stage of our lives where we’re preparing to send her off, we are also unbelievably proud parents who want nothing less for her. We’ve raised a wonderful young woman, and I couldn’t be prouder of her and us. We’ve done well, and our daughter is the most special proof of that."
In another post, Remini addresses Sofia directly. Sharing a clip of her daughter's birth on her 18th birthday, Remini writes, "Today, our daughter turns 18 and will soon be off to college. Sofia Bella, I can honestly say I have never known love until the day I held you in my arms. I am crying as I try and post something here to tell you how much you have given me. Making me your mom has been my greatest honor. Daddy and I adore you."
A proud mother, the 52-year-old actress had earlier shared a picture of her daughter's prom. She captioned this image with thoughts about Sofia's last night as a senior at highschool, adding, "Senior year is filled with exciting milestones but it doesn’t make it any less sad for parents when we wonder how time flew by so fast. Angelo and I couldn’t be prouder of the young woman Sofia is becoming. But I need this process to slow down."
