RICEBORO, GEORGIA: Over a month after intimately tying the knot in Las Vegas’ A Little White Chapel on July 16, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are throwing a grand wedding bash this weekend. “It’s going to be all about J.Lo. Ben wants all of the focus to be on her for their big day,” a source told Page Six.
As per sources, the three-day-long function will start on Friday, August 19, with a rehearsal dinner. The main event will reportedly be on Saturday while the last day will see a barbecue and picnic.

What Lopez is wearing for the ceremony?
Reports have said that for the wedding that will take place in Riceboro, Georgia, the 53-year-old singer will don Ralph Lauren’s custom couture. Though no other details regarding the gown have been out yet, it has been speculated that the dress “may include a sentimental ode to her and Affleck's decades-spanning romance,” Harper's Bazaar reported.
This impression emerged from their last wedding in Las Vegas, where Lopez instead of going for something new, chose the white dress she wore during her appearance on the poster of ‘Jersey Girl’. The 2004 movie also starred her new husband, Affleck. Alexander McQueen was its designer that completed the ensemble with textured floral jacquard fabric and a jewel neckline.
In her newsletter, the ‘On The Floor’ songstress said, “I've had this dress for so many years, and I've just been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I'm wearing it on my wedding day.”
Who all are attending the party?
Insiders have told Page Six that the wedding will see Drea de Matteo, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, and Jimmy Kimmel in attendance. The family members of the two stars will also join them. Lopez’s children, Max, and Emme Muñiz will attend the function along with the 50-year-old actor’s kids — Violet Affleck, Seraphina Affleck, and Samuel Affleck.
Who is the wedding officiant?
Life coach of Indian descent, Jay Shetty, has reportedly been given the opportunity to officiate Lopez and Affleck’s wedding. Reportedly, the ‘Marry Me’ actress knew Shetty since last year after doing an episode of ‘Coach Conversations,’ with him. She also had an appearance on the 34-year-old’s ‘On Purpose’ podcast in March 2021, where she claimed, “Everything I do, I want it to have a purpose to it. I want to remind people to own their power. Be your best self at every moment, even when the cameras are not on.”
Not just that, Shetty was the one who officiated the weddings of four pairs for ‘Marry Me’ promotions. He had said at the time, “It was seeing 4 beautiful couples take their vows and having Jennifer Lopez and @maluma as their wedding singers! Their stories and journeys brought tears to everyone’s eyes and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it.”

Event planner Colin Cowie has reportedly been hired by Bennifer for their 2.0’s nuptials celebrations. Cowie is an expert in planning A-listers functions as his work experience includes names like Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Kim Kardashian, and Nicole Kidman. Besides, he is a master in providing “a royal wedding of epic proportions [to] the most glamorous, sophisticated and tasteful backyard wedding.”
