Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck engaged: Singer confirms proposal as she flaunts massive green ring
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have announced their engagement again. On April 8, the 52-year-old actress and singer posted a video on her official website showing off the ring in a 13-second video, but there was no sight of her 49-year-old fiancé Ben.
The actress and singer's video on her official website showed her sobbing and staring at her green-hued engagement ring. The video began with a blank screen and a close-up of her ring before moving up to her face. The mother of two is obviously crying in the shot as she gazes at her emerald and diamond sparkler. She was dressed casually in a green shirt, a knitted cardigan, and minimum makeup. “Jennifer was just in Los Angeles for a couple of days,” a source told People. “She spent time with Ben. They have kept in touch every day since their Montana trip.”

In July, last year the adorable couple made their relationship public on Instagram while on a European vacation in honor of Jennifer’s 52nd birthday. Since then, the power couple's relationship has grown from strength to strength, with the couple attending red carpet events and spending time together all over the world. Ben and Jen began dating in early 2002 after meeting on the set of 'Gigli'. Ben proposed to her in November 2002 with a 6.1-carat radiant cut pink diamond ring with two trapezoid white diamonds put on an 18K pink gold and platinum band from Harry Winston. The ring is now estimated to be worth $12 million, having cost Ben $1.2 million at the time (November 2002).
Ben and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner have three children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Jennifer and ex-husband Marc Anthony have two children: twins Max and Emme, all 13 years old. Rumors about Jennifer and Ben's engagement began to circulate two days before, while she was out with her daughter Emme.
While going out of the store, she was rotating the ring to cover the large diamond. Whether Ben went down on one knee and proposed to Jennifer again is unclear. It was reported last month that they are in escrow and have put down more than $50 million for a large property. The 20,000-square-foot mansion, which has 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, is located in the affluent Bel-Air region of Los Angeles and can comfortably accommodate their blended family.
