Reality star Jenelle Evans, 30, has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after years of suffering from persistent pain. Fibromyalgia is an incurable disorder that causes widespread pain, exhaustion, and sleeping issues.

The 'Teen Mom 2' star revealed her diagnosis to E! in a new interview. She stated, “For as long as I can remember, I would get extremely bad tension headaches and full-body aches — like I had the flu, but was not sick.” She further added, “My entire body gets in so much pain and sometimes I lay in bed and cry. [For] a long time, no one believed my symptoms until I got a second opinion from a new neurologist.”

Evans, 30, said that “living life every day is challenging,” because she only has “a little bit” of energy.

Evans said that she only had a " little bit" of energy which made her life challenging. “I now know why my body is acting the way it does and it explains a lot. I never knew what fibromyalgia was until my doctor diagnosed me,” she said. She further added, “I am now researching foods to stay away from, and foods that are beneficial for my condition.”

Evans' husband David Eason has been "very supportive" throughout the process, transporting her to appointments and assisting her around the house and with the kids, according to Evans.

Ensley, Evans and Eason's five-year-old daughter, is the couple's only child. She had two kids Jace, 12, and Kaiser, 7, with her ex-boyfriend’s Andrew Lewis and Nathan Griffith, respectively.

“I want my kids to know that some days are good and some days are bad with fibromyalgia,” she added. “Please have patience with me on my bad days and I promise to make it up to you on my good days.”

She continued, “I have private talks with my kids about my health and let them know they don’t have to worry, some days won’t be good but I’ll get through it.”

Evans and Eason, who got married in 2017, have had their share of ups and downs in their relationship. After Eason shot and killed Evans' dog for allegedly attacking their kid and following his June 2020 arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon and conveying threats, they called it quits and reconciled a couple of times.

The two have now reconnected, with all three of Evans' children participating in TikTok videos alongside them.
