Jazz Jennings addresses false narrative about her transition
Jazz delivered a very powerful speech on the transgender day of visibility. She also shared a video from the rally and penned a lengthy speech in her caption. She explained how she feels after her transition and addressed all the rumors about her family. Jazz revealed that her parents never forced her to transition, and they supported her at every step. For the unaware, Jazz was only five years old when her parents initiated the process of transitioning her from male to female. Jazz further said, "I don’t regret my transition AT ALL." The reality star explained that when she was 11, she started male puberty and was put on hormone blockers and those blockers saved her life. Jazz added that many transgender youths can also feel the life-threatening experience who denied gender-affirming care.
Jazz further revealed that she did struggle with her mental health. But she made it clear that she struggled with mental health not because she transitioned, and it's, unfortunately, something many LGBTQ+ people face. But she struggled because of the hate and lack of acceptance in society. Jazz continued, "We must not lose hope. We must continue sharing our stories, using our art and platforms to express the love that forms the basis of our community." The TLC star further gushed in the speech that "we are the rainbow and why do so many view the rainbow as something bad when it is a beautiful symbol in nature? It may require a little rain, but the rainbow will emerge from the darkness and persist as a sign of how wonderful the LGBTQIA+ community is."

Jazz Jennings joined movement against Anti-Trans bill
Jazz recently raised her voice against the anti-trans bill that was recently passed by the republicans. The bill was reintroduced to codify federal protections for transgender Americans, as several states have passed anti-trans legislation and the Republican-controlled US House is advancing restrictions. The bill would amend the Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination based on sex and enforce prohibitions on discrimination in health care based on gender identity. The laws also propose restrictions on drag shows, on the use of bathrooms by trans people, and on the use of gender-appropriate pronouns.
However, Jazz shared a video of several trans people who came forward to oppose the bill, explaining that more than 435 anti-trans bills have been introduced across 44 states of America. In the video, multiple trans celebrities and activists explained, "The proposed laws attack trans people' access to essential life giving health care, the right to use the correct bathroom, the play youth sports, to enjoy full and vibrant lives, free from discrimination from dystopian surveillance, from vicious attempts, to twist our humanity into a tool for reflection. Make no mistake beautiful trans family."
