Jazz in the Garden Festival: Grammy winners Mary J Blige, Jill Scott, H.E.R., Charlie Wilson set to be the highlight of Florida fest

Several other singers like Kirk Franklin, SWV and Stokely from Mint Condition are set to join the bandwagon at the Jazz in the Garden Festival in Florida.

If you're waiting to be a part of the 15th anniversary of the Florida festival Jazz in the Garden, you may be excited to hear the names of popular singers set to join the lineup. Mary J Blige, Jill Scott, H.E.R., Charlie Wilson are among the artistes coming to the fest on March 14-15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. 

Several other singers like Kirk Franklin, SWV and Stokely from Mint Condition are set to join the bandwagon and comedian Rickey Smiley will grace the event once again as host. In a statement, Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert said, "This year's festival has a stellar lineup of Grammy award-winning artists. It is not only the City's signature event, but it's also how we say hello to the world as we draw thousands of people from all over to party with us."

Produced by Live Nation Urban and Live Nation Miami, the festival already began the ticket presales with the 15th Anniversary Presale Offer at 2 pm EST on December 17. The ticket sale will begin for the general public on December 20 at 10 am EST.

Reflecting on the culture of Jazz and R&B music, Live Nation Urban president Shawn Gee said in a release, “Jazz in the Gardens is one of the most important live events in the culture of Jazz & R&B music, globally. Our goal is not only to produce a stellar event but to let the world know about the hidden gem that the city of Miami Gardens has with this event.”

He added, “As a manager, my clients have played this festival several times over the past decade, so when presented with the opportunity to work alongside the city to produce the event this year, I was super excited.”

Live Nation Miami president Brittany Flores put the spotlight on how the event is "a staple in South Florida." She added, "We are honored to partner with Mayor Gilbert and the city of Miami Gardens on the 15th anniversary of Jazz In The Gardens and we are beyond excited to help continue the tradition and usher in the next chapter of this amazing event.” 

Launched back in 2005, the fest has entertained over 750,000 people with live jazz, R&B, funk, soul, hip-hop, a good time and great music.
