Four-time Grammy-winner Jason Isbell is back with a new single 'Be Afraid' featuring The 400 Unit! The song is one of the ten tracks on Isbell's new album 'Reunions' which comes out on May 15 on Thirty Tigers.

‘Reunions’ was recorded with the 400 Unit and produced by Dave Cobb. Isbell is widely acclaimed as one of the best songwriters in the game, as well as a musician with one of the most dedicated fanbases who have pushed his last two albums into the Top 20 in the UK and right to the top of the US charts.

Speaking about his remarkable success, Isbell says “Success is a very nice problem to have but I think ‘how do I get through it and not lose what made me good in the first place?’” 'Reunions', therefore, is an album about growth. “A lot of these songs and the overall concept of this album is how do I progress as an artist and a human being and still keep that same hunger that I had when I wasn’t quite so far along in either respect.” For Isbell, the solution is simple. Go back in time to his roots and use the hard-earned knowledge he has gained since then to create something new.

'Reunions' is the product of Isbell's journey. In ten songs, he dives into relationships with lovers, friends, children, parents, and one’s self and gives us some of his best writing to date. From moving lyrical standouts that look at youth and childhood to deeply personal songs about alcoholism and parenthood, Isbell is hitting us with a whole range of emotions and his genius is backed by a band fully charged with creativity and confidence.
