BOGOTA, COLUMBIA: According to reports, 'Waka Waka' singer Shakira suspected her longtime partner Gerard Piqué, a Spanish soccer player, of cheating when she noticed her jam was vanishing. The diva and the player are one of the most well-known power couples in the world, who dated for more than ten years before calling it quits.

After returning from a trip, the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer got concerned about the missing fruit spread because their children, who are all famous soccer players, detest jam, reports ShowNews Today. Shakira appears to make reference to this unfortunate twist of fate in the music video for their song 'Te Felicito', in which she can be seen opening a refrigerator and seeing Rauw Alejandro's head served up on a platter.

According to reports, neither Pique nor the children enjoy strawberry jam, which led Shakira to believe the Spaniard was having an affair and that a stranger had visited their home. In the music video for her most recent hit 'Te Felicito', Shakira herself makes a reference to the alleged affair. Fans speculated that the singer was explaining how she discovered the "truth in the fridge" when she was seen opening a refrigerator, reported The Sun.

The 11-year relationship between the Colombian pop star and Piqué ended peacefully in June 2022, but since then, things have gotten worse as she dropped the scathing diss song "BZRP Music Session #53," in which she criticizes both her ex and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, 23, as per Page Six report. Shakira, 45, sings in Spanish in the new song about her tax trial, "You left me with my mother-in-law as my neighbor / Media outlets at my door and in debt with the government."

Shakira reportedly turned a witch doll on her balcony and positioned it so that it faced Piqué's mother's house after the song's release. The 35-year-old athlete is silent about Shakira's newest song. As reported by Page Six earlier, when Shakira discovered Marti was on one of Piqué's Zoom conversations he made from home in 2021, when the now-divorced couple was still very much together, she was "devastated." For eight years, the ex-couple cohabitated in Barcelona, Spain; nevertheless, a source claims that Shakira and their kids are returning to Miami.

Meanwhile, the internet hilariously reacted to the pop star's discovery about her long-time boyfriend. A user tweeted, "She must have been jelly." A humorous GIF of a man falling to the ground was uploaded by another user. Another user wrote, "Jamming to my music is one thing. Touching my jam and man is another. The fridge don't lie - Shakira." Another person wrote, "don’t play with a woman who knows her jams." "There’s a first time for everything. What if he wanted to try strawberry jam for the first time?" remarked one user. "The jam Pique’d her interest and now he’s toast." quipped another user.
