Jennifer Lopez opens up after Gwyneth Paltrow's remarks about Ben Affleck's 'excellent' bedroom skills
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jennifer Lopez has spoken up for the first time since Gwyneth Paltrow made shocking revelations about the sexual prowess of her husband Ben Affleck. The 'Jenny From The Block' hitmaker, 53, opened up about her husband during a Thursday, May 4, appearance on 'The View' and praised the way he raises their joint children. She added of her 50-year-old husband Ben: "He's an amazing dad."
Lopez's adoring tribute to her husband came only a few days after Paltrow, 50, shocked fans by drawing comparisons between her two famous ex-partners, Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, saying that while the latter was "technically better in bed" but the former "edges things as the better actor," reported Daily Mail.

'Ben was like technically excellent'
Earlier this week, Paltrow received duress during an episode of the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast with Alex Cooper. Paltrow responded to the question of who was the best in the bedroom candidly, saying: "That's really hard. Because Brad was like the major chemistry love of your life at the time. And then Ben was like technically excellent."
When asked which of the two actors she thought was the greater actor, she responded, "They're both so talented. And Ben is a great writer and director. But I guess I would probably have to say acting alone, Brad. Because if you think of all the different roles that he's done." Paltrow began dating Brad in 1994 but their engagement ended in 1997 because she felt too young to get married at the age of 24. After that, Paltrow dated Ben for three years. Ben eventually married Lopez last year.
The actress recently revealed that she still speaks with Brad. In October 2022, she said to Entertainment Tonight, "When we first broke up, we weren't friends for a while. And then we sort of found our way back, probably about 18 or 19 years ago, something like that, and then just kind of stayed in touch over the years. I adore him," Paltrow said. "He's an amazing person, and he's a great entrepreneur, and such a creative, and such a good person. I really love him. I'm a big fan."
Later, Paltrow spent 13 years with Coldplay singer Chris Martin before intentionally "uncoupling." Together, they share two children: Moses, 17, and Apple, 18. Paltrow is now married to producer Brad Falchuk since 2018. After the dissolution of his five-year marriage to Angelina Jolie in 2019, Brad Pitt is now happily dating.
'It brings tears to my eyes'
In response to Paltrow's remarks, Lopez chose to talk about Ben's parenting skills rather than acknowledge his sexual prowess. After getting married last year, Lopez and Ben joined their families. At 'The View,' portraying him as a "present, loving dad who cares," Lopez said of her 50-year-old husband: "He's an amazing dad. It brings tears to my eyes. He is honestly the best dad I've ever seen. He's so involved, he teaches me about how to interact with the kids sometimes."
"He's just so in tune, he's such a brilliant guy anyway, like he's so learned in so many things, and you can just tell when he's had his kids, he read every book and everything you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it," the songstress continued.
In November 2022, Lopez and Ben got hitched. Prior to splitting up, getting married, and starting families, they had dated and been engaged 20 years prior. But in 2022, they both started dating once more, and a few months later, they were married, going full circle.
